The Ibex-1510 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax access point and client for onboard and stationary applications. It offers fast and efficient data transfers, with features for band steering, client steering, and multi-AP steering. It can serve as a maintenance access point, part of a TCMS network, or as a passenger hotspot.
Designed to withstand harsh onboard environments, the Ibex-1510 is resistant to continuous vibrations, extreme temperatures, humidity, and demanding electromagnetic conditions. Its GORE-TEX® membrane prevents internal condensation, and excellent isolation across all interfaces allows direct connection to the vehicle's auxiliary power supply, providing protection against surges and voltage spikes. The IP66 protection prevents water and dust ingress, even with the quick-connect QMA connectors.
The optimized overall design offers a compact package with a high Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) for easy integration into tight spaces and a low lifecycle cost. Independent laboratory type testing certifies compliance with a wide range of standards, including EN 50155. The Ibex-1510 runs on the IbexOS operating system, featuring the latest cybersecurity functionalities and updates.
