Overview
The Ibex-1510 is a dual-band 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 Access Point/Client designed for railway and stationary applications. It offers reliable, efficient data transmission with high speeds, Airtime Fairness, Band Steering, and Client/Multi-AP steering. It can be used for passenger hotspots, remote access, data offloading, or as part of a TCMS network.
Its construction makes it ideal for the harsh operating environments found in trains, where the switch is exposed to constant vibrations, extreme temperatures, humidity, and demanding electromagnetic conditions.
A GORE-TEX® membrane protects against internal condensation. High-quality isolation between all interfaces allows direct connection to the vehicle's onboard power supply and protects against surges and spikes. The IP66 rating prevents water and dust ingress, even at the QMA connectors for quick connection.
An optimized design ensures a compact form factor with a very high MTBF for easy integration into space-constrained environments and low lifecycle costs. Thorough type testing by independent laboratories confirms compliance with various standards, including EN 50155.
The Ibex-1510's IbexOS operating system is based on Linux and equipped with the latest cybersecurity features and updates.
