This document provides essential installation instructions for the Tow-Trust TVV524SN towbar. It is designed for specific Volvo models, including the S40 Saloon, V50 Estate from 2004 onwards, and the C70 from 2006 onwards. Please read all general notes carefully before commencing the fitting process.

- Flat Washers (J): 10 x 30 (2 units)
- Flat Washers (K): 12 x 40 (2 units)
- Flat Washers (L): 10 x 25 (4 units)
- Flat Washers (M): 12 x 25 (12 units)
- Flat Washers (N): 8 x 25 H/D (6 units)

Fitting Instructions
- Remove the rear bumper, noting its fixings (top edge, bottom edge, and tip fixings). Pull the bumper outwards and then rearwards.
- Loosely attach the towbar (A) to the forward face of the bumper beam using item G and item J.
- Loosely attach the towbar (A) to the underside of the bumper beam using item H and item K.
- With items B and items G/L, loosely attach the towbar (A) to the rear panel at specified points.
- Secure chassis straps (C) to the underside of each chassis using existing exhaust hanger and heat shield bolts, along with items P and N.
- Attach side arms (B) to chassis straps (C) using items R and M.
- Connect the swan neck (D) and socket plate (S) to the towbar (A) using items F, M, and E.
- Fully tighten all nuts and bolts, ensuring the towbar is rigid and square.
- Refit the rear bumper. Note: R-DESIGN models may require a central cut (90mm wide x 35mm deep); check compatibility first. C70 models may require a 90mm wide x 110mm deep cut.
Important Notes
Torque Setting: Recommended torque for M12 Grade 10.9 bolts is 139 Nm. Refer to overleaf notes for other torque settings.
Load Limits: Always observe nose load limits and vehicle manufacturer's specified trailer/caravan weight limits.
