Introduction
DJI Power 1000 is a portable power station with a capacity of 1024 Wh, weighing approx. 13 kg, and supporting a maximum output of 2200 W. DJI Power 500 is a portable power station with a capacity of 512 Wh, weighing approx. 7.3 kg, and supporting a maximum output of 1000 W. The power stations support fast charging and standard charging modes for AC power charging. In fast charging mode, the power station can be charged from 0% to 80% in approx. 50 minutes, and from 0% to 100% in approx. 70 minutes. [1] In standard charging mode, the charging speed is reduced, and the noise is lower, which is suitable for charging overnight. Charging in standard mode can extend battery life. The power station can be charged from 0% to 100% in approx. two hours. The power stations feature SDC/SDC Lite ports and support charging DJI intelligent flight batteries and other devices, as well as providing power supply. [1] Test performed at room temperature 25 °C (77 °F) and in good ventilation conditions.

- Displays the current battery level of the power station.
- Displays remaining usage time when the power station is charging external devices. Displays remaining time required to fully charge the power station from the current battery level when the power station is being charged.
- Battery level line: The battery level line flashes sequentially when the power station is being charged. The last grid on the battery level line flashes when the power station is charging external devices.
- System warnings.
Screen Error Codes and Symbols
ERRBB: Error Code
⚠️ Temperature Error: When the temperature is abnormal in Fast Charging mode, the temperature icon on the screen flashes slowly. Actual charging power may be reduced to preserve battery life and safety. The icon will light up constantly if the temperature is too high or too low. Wait for the temperature to return to normal.

Powering On/Off
1. Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for at least two seconds. The screen will automatically turn on after being powered on.
2. Turn Display Screen On/Off: When the power station is powered on, press the power button once.

Charging External Devices
AC Output
The power station has two AC output ports. Connect the external device to an AC output port and press the AC output button for power supply.

The power station features automatic AC power off and automatic power saving.
- Automatic AC Shutoff: Press the AC output button once to activate AC output, and the AC output indicator will flash slowly. AC output will automatically shut off to save power if the power station is not charging any device via the AC output ports within half an hour.
- Continuous AC Output: Press and hold the AC output button to activate AC output, the AC output indicator will show a continuous light, and the AC output will not automatically shut off. This can provide continuous AC power supply to an external device that operates periodically, such as a refrigerator.
- Automatic Shutoff at Low Output Power: When AC output is deactivated, the power station will automatically shut off if it is not charging any device within one hour.
When recharging with AC power at different frequencies, the power station will automatically switch to the same frequency as the input power. To manually switch the AC output frequency, disconnect the power station from the AC outlet when AC output is activated, then press and hold the AC output button for 10 seconds.
• The internal electronic components have a waterproof coating. A slight odor may occur when using high power. The odor will disappear naturally with daily use.
USB Output
The power station has two USB-A ports and two USB-C ports. Connect the external device to the USB-A or USB-C ports for power supply.

Fast Charging DJI Batteries
DJI Power 1000 has an SDC port and an SDC Lite port, and DJI Power 500 has an SDC Lite port. The power station can fast charge a supported DJI intelligent flight battery using an SDC fast charging cable (sold separately).

Other SDC Output
The power station can also be used with other SDC cables (sold separately) to charge various devices via the SDC/SDC Lite port.

DJI Power SDC to Car Charger Plug Power Cable (12 V)
The power station can charge vehicle-powered devices such as a car refrigerator using this cable.
• Ensure the external device is within the cable's output specifications (voltage 13.6 V, current 10 A, power 136 W).
DJI Power SDC to XT60 Power Cable (12 V)
The power station can provide 12V DC input for devices with an XT60 port using this cable.
• DO NOT connect directly to a lithium battery with an XT60 port when using the DJI Power SDC to XT60 power cable. Ensure to connect the power station to a balanced charger first.
Charging the Station
AC Charging
The power station has modes for fast charging and standard charging for AC power charging.
Fast Charging Mode: In fast charging mode, the charging power is higher. It takes approx. 50 minutes to charge the power station to 80%, and approx. 70 minutes to 100%.
Standard Charging Mode: In standard charging mode, the charging power is lower and the operating noise is lower, which is suitable for charging overnight. Charging in standard mode can extend battery life. It takes about two hours to charge the power station to 100%.
Take DJI Power 1000 as an example, follow the steps below for AC power charging:
- Open the port cover and connect the DJI Power 1000 to a power outlet using the AC power cable in the package.
- Switch the charging mode selector to set the charging mode to 1200W fast charging mode or 600W standard charging mode. For DJI Power 500, the charging mode can be set to 540W fast charging mode or 270W standard charging mode.

- Disconnect from the AC power outlet when charging is complete.
- Standard charging mode is recommended for extended battery life.
- The power station provides a battery cell protection strategy. If the power station is charged in fast charging mode for five consecutive cycles, the power station will automatically switch to standard charging mode after the sixth fast charge for battery maintenance. The maintenance process lasts for approx. 20 minutes.
- When the temperature is abnormal in Fast Charging mode, the temperature error icon on the screen flashes slowly. Actual charging power may be reduced to preserve battery life and safety.
Solar Charging
The power station can be connected to solar panels using the DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT) or the DJI Power Car Power Outlet to SDC Power Cable for solar charging. Both types of accessories are sold separately.
Take DJI Power 1000 as an example, follow the steps below for solar charging:
- Unfold the solar panel, support it with the stand, and adjust the panel so it faces the sunlight. Adjust the angle of the stand. It is recommended that the surface of the solar panel is perpendicular to the sunlight. Ensure the solar panel is not covered by obstacles.
- Connect the solar panel with an XT60 cable to the solar panel adapter module to begin charging.

- Follow the instructions for using the solar panel. DO NOT mix solar panel types. Otherwise, the device may be damaged.
- Up to three solar panels can be connected to the adapter module and used in parallel (cannot be used in series). DJI Power 1000 can connect two solar panel adapter modules and up to six solar panels for solar charging. DJI Power 500 can connect to one solar panel adapter module and up to three solar panels for solar charging.
- The DJI Power Car Power Outlet to SDC Power Cable allows one solar panel to be connected for solar charging. The maximum current of the solar panels should be less than 10 A, and the output power should be less than 100 W.
- It is recommended to use DJI-authorized Zignes solar panels. If non-recommended solar panels are used, ensure that the solar panels meet all the following requirements to avoid damaging the solar panel adapter and the power station:
- a. The open-circuit voltage is less than 30 V.
- b. The maximum current for each solar panel used is less than 10 A.
- c. If more than one solar panel is used, the total power is less than 400 W.
- For DJI Power 500, the maximum input power is limited to 300 W when using the SDC Lite port for solar charging.
- Keep the power station away from direct sunlight when recharging it. Overheating may cause damage to the device.
- Prevent leaves and other objects from covering the surface of the solar panel. Placing the solar panel in a partially shaded area will affect charging efficiency and cause overcurrent, which may damage components.
- Dampen a soft cloth with clean water and wipe the surface to clean the solar panel.
Car Charging
The DJI Power Car Power Outlet to SDC Power Adapter can be used to connect a car power outlet to the SDC port (or SDC Lite port) on the power station for car charging.

- Ensure the input voltage of the car's power outlet is within 12–30 V and the maximum input current is less than 8 A. Otherwise, it may lead to abnormal performance or even damage to the power station.
- Ensure the power adapter is properly connected to the car's power outlet and the car engine is started before charging.
USB-C Charging
DJI Power 500 can be charged using a USB Power Delivery charger via the USB-C port for a maximum charging current of 100 W. It also supports simultaneous power input, where two USB-C ports can be used for charging with a maximum power of 200 W.
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
The power station supports Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). Connect the power station to an AC outlet, and connect an external device such as a computer to the power station. Press the AC button once, and [UPS icon] will be displayed on the screen. In this case, the AC outlet powers both the power station and the connected device. Note that UPS is activated by default.
In case of a sudden power outage, the power station can automatically switch to the battery-powered supply within 20 ms, allowing the connected device to remain in normal operation.

- The power station only supports the basic UPS function and does not support 0 ms switching. DO NOT connect the power station to devices that require 0 ms UPS, such as medical equipment, data servers, or workstations storing critical data. Otherwise, it may lead to malfunction or data loss.
- This function is unavailable in some regions. Refer to local laws and regulations for more information.
DJI Power 1000 Extensions
1/4" Thread Hole
DJI Power 1000 has two 1/4" threaded holes, allowing users to mount the DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT) to the power station as follows:
Mount one adapter module to the power station by following Figure A.
Align the mounting holes at the bottom of the brackets with each other, and mount two adapter modules to the power station by following Figure B.
• Users can also mount devices with 1/4" screws to the power station.

Protective Carrying Case
DJI Power 1000 can be used with the protective carrying case. The case can protect the power station from scratches and dust, and make it more convenient to carry the power station.
Open the front of the case for connecting external devices to the power station, and the back of the case is for storing cables and accessories.
When using the DJI Power 1000 with the protective carrying case, be sure to open the zippers on both sides of the case to avoid blocking the vents, which may cause overheating.

Addendum
Firmware Update
The firmware versions of DJI Power 1000 and DJI Power 500 can be updated using DJI Assistant 2 (Power Series). Ensure your computer is connected to the internet during the firmware update. Follow the instructions below to ensure a successful firmware update:
- Turn off the device, press and hold the AC button and the power button simultaneously until LOAD is displayed on the screen.

- Connect the device to an AC power outlet if you are updating the firmware for DJI Power 1000 with a rated voltage of 100 V or 120 V. Skip this step if you are updating the firmware for other power station models.

- Start DJI Assistant 2, select the product, and click the firmware update button on the left side.
- Select the firmware version, read the prompts in DJI Assistant 2 carefully, and click update. The firmware will be downloaded and uploaded to the device automatically.
- Firmware updates automatically, and the screen will display the update progress. Wait for the download and upload to complete. The device will restart automatically after the firmware update is complete.
- DO NOT turn off the device or disconnect the device from the computer during the firmware update.
- DO NOT connect other devices to the power station or computer during the firmware update.
- If the firmware update fails, try again by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds to restart the device, and then try again.

Maintenance
- Store the power station in a cool, dry place for extended periods, away from direct sunlight. Overheating may cause damage to the device.
- To prevent leaves and other objects from covering the solar panel surface. Placing the solar panel in a partially shaded area will affect charging efficiency and cause overcurrent, which may damage components.
- Dampen a soft cloth with clean water and wipe the surface to clean the solar panel.
- If the power station is used for a long time, it is recommended to charge it to 100% every 3 months to maintain battery health.
- When charging the power station, use the standard charging mode to extend battery life. If the power station is charged in fast charging mode for five consecutive cycles, it will automatically switch to standard charging mode after the sixth fast charge for battery maintenance. The maintenance process lasts for about 20 minutes.
- When the temperature is abnormal in Fast Charging mode, the temperature error icon on the screen flashes slowly. Actual charging power may be reduced to preserve battery life and safety.
- Clean the terminals with a dry cloth, and do not use alcohol or other flammable solvents.
