2. Warning
This device is intended for use by persons (including children) with the ability/experience to operate such a device without supervision, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the device by a person responsible for their safety. Do not place this product near or on electric heaters or radiators, or in places exposed to direct sunlight.
Keep away from heat-generating items like candles, ashtrays, incense, flammable gases, or explosive substances. Do not place containers filled with water on the screen, as this may cause a risk of fire or electric shock. Do not expose the product to oily substances or chemical agents, as this may cause corrosion of the product casing. Do not expose this product to rain or near water (e.g., bathtub, sink, kitchen sink, washing machine tub, wet basement, swimming pool). If the product accidentally gets wet, does not operate normally, or emits an unusual sound or odor, immediately unplug the power plug and contact an authorized dealer or service center for further assistance.
When cleaning the screen, use a dry, soft cloth that does not contain flammable substances. Before cleaning, ensure you have unplugged the power cord or power adapter from the outlet. Do not overload wall sockets, extension cords, or integrated convenience receptacles, as this may cause a fire or electric shock. The power cord or power adapter should be placed in a location where it will not be stepped on or pinched by objects, and care should be taken with cords at the plug, integrated convenience receptacles, and the screen outlet. Before connecting the AC power cord to the power adapter or the screen's power interface, ensure your local power supply meets the adapter's or screen's input voltage requirements. Do not touch the interior of this product to avoid electric shock. Only qualified technicians are permitted to open the cover of this product. The power cord plug must be easily accessible. Do not place the monitor, furniture, etc., on the power cord. A damaged power cord/plug may cause a fire or electric shock. Handle the power cord by the plug; do not disconnect the monitor by pulling the power cord. Never touch the power cord/plug with wet hands, as this may cause a short circuit or electric shock. Never knot the power cord or tie it with other cables. If damaged, it must be replaced by qualified personnel.
Never place the monitor on fabric or other materials that may be between the monitor set and the support furniture. Do not place the monitor on the floor or inclined surfaces. If you plan to leave the monitor unused for a long period, or if you will be away from home (especially if children, elderly, or disabled persons are staying alone), unplug the plug or power adapter from the outlet. Accumulated dust may cause sparks and heat from the power cord or power adapter, or damage the insulation of the power cord or adapter, resulting in electric shock, leakage, or fire. After moving the monitor from a cold environment to a warm one, allow it to acclimatize for a while before powering it on, so that any condensation inside can dissipate and dry completely.
Do not allow children to climb on this product. Do not install this product in an unstable position, such as a rocking shelf, inclined floor, or a position subject to external vibrations. Carefully attach the feet/stand to the product. If the stand is supplied with screws, tighten the screws well to prevent the screen from tilting. Do not overtighten the screws. Do not place the monitor on the floor or inclined surfaces. To avoid the risk of suffocation, keep plastic bags away from babies, children, and pets. ABOVE ALL - NEVER let anyone, especially children, push or hit the screen, insert anything into holes, slots, or other openings in the casing.

13. Eco-friendly Usage Tips for the Thomson Monitor
To reduce energy consumption and minimize your environmental footprint when using your Thomson monitor, follow these simple eco-friendly practices:
- Enable Power Saving Mode: Activate the monitor's eco-mode to reduce energy consumption when the monitor is not in use. This setting helps reduce brightness and save energy during idle periods.
- Adjust Brightness and Contrast: Lower the brightness and contrast settings to a comfortable level. This not only reduces energy usage but also extends the monitor's lifespan.
- Turn Off When Not in Use: Always turn off the monitor when you finish using it, especially during long idle periods. Alternatively, set a shorter standby mode or an automatic shutdown timer.
- Unplug When Idle: Unplug the monitor from the outlet when it is not in use for extended periods, such as during holidays or long absences. This prevents phantom energy consumption.
Proper Disposal: At the end of its life, recycle your monitor responsibly by taking it to a designated collection point for electronic waste, in accordance with the WEEE directive. This ensures proper disposal and supports sustainable material reuse.
14. Other
Plug and Play Features: This monitor can be installed on any compatible Plug and Play system. The interaction between the monitor and the computer system provides optimal operating conditions and monitor settings. In most cases, monitor installation will be automatic, unless the user chooses a different setting.
Accepted Dead Pixels: The monitor of this product is manufactured using an advanced semiconductor process with precision exceeding 1 ppm (parts per million). However, some pixels may be too bright or dark when displaying red, green, blue, or white colors. You can use it freely, as the quality is satisfactory. This equipment is Class B IT equipment.
15. Troubleshooting
Black screen / Product cannot be turned on:
- Check if the power adapter is connected correctly.
- Check if the power adapter is normally connected to the 100-240V AC outlet.
- Check if the signal detection cable information is displayed on the monitor; check the cable connection between the connected system and this monitor.
- Different Inputs:
- a. DP Input: Check if the DP input is selected as the source, if you connect the PD cable after the connected system is activated. Unplug and reconnect the DP cable while using the connected system. The monitor may not display an image because some graphics cards cannot output a signal. In this case, restart the connected system after connecting the DP cable and/or update your graphics card drivers.
- b. HDMI Input: Check if the HDMI input is selected as the source, if you connect the HDMI cable after the connected system is activated. Unplug and reconnect the HDMI cable while using your system. The monitor may not display an image because some graphics cards cannot output a signal. In this case, restart the connected system after connecting the HDMI cable or update your graphics card drivers.
- If the LED indicator is blinking:
- The monitor is in standby mode. Move your mouse or press any key on the keyboard to wake the monitor.
- Check if the computer is turned on.
- If the "No signal" notification appears, check if the signal cable is connected correctly.
- If the image appears incorrectly or has a different resolution than the monitor, update the graphics drivers and reset the monitor settings in the OSD. Graphics drivers depend on your GPU manufacturer. Please visit the GPU manufacturer's specific website.
- If the monitor retains an image, do not display a static image for a long period. Use a screen saver instead.
Other Troubleshooting:
If colors are abnormal on your monitor, select a different color depth. Proceed to the Windows Control Panel > Display > Settings > Color Quality or go to your exclusive GPU settings. Settings may vary depending on your operating system.
If the displayed colors appear unstable, check if the signal cable is connected correctly. If the problem persists, change the cable and reset your graphics card settings.
If the monitor does not produce sound through the headphone jack, ensure proper connectivity or try increasing the volume. If the problem persists, go to the Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > set the monitor as the default device. Settings may vary depending on your operating system.
Note on viewing angle: As the viewing angle of the monitor changes from the user's perspective, LED light may appear on the edge of the product frame, but this phenomenon is not harmful to the human body and does not affect the product's characteristics and performance.
