To reduce energy consumption and minimize environmental impact while using your Thomson monitor, follow these simple eco-friendly recommendations:
- Activate Power Saving Mode: Enable the monitor's eco-mode to reduce energy consumption when the monitor is not in use. This setting helps reduce brightness and save energy during idle periods.
- Adjust Brightness and Contrast: Lower the brightness and contrast settings to a comfortable level. This not only reduces energy consumption but also extends the monitor's lifespan.
- Turn Off When Not in Use: Always turn off the monitor when you finish using it, especially during extended periods of inactivity. Additionally, set a shorter sleep mode or auto-off timer.
- Turn Off Monitor When Not in Use: Turn off the monitor if it is not going to be used for a long time, for example, during holidays or extended absences. This helps prevent phantom energy consumption.
- Proper Disposal: After the end of its service life, responsibly dispose of the monitor by taking it to a designated collection point for electronic waste in accordance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive. This will ensure proper disposal and promote the sustainable reuse of materials.

WARNINGS
Never install the monitor in an unstable location. The monitor may fall, which can cause serious injury or death. Many injuries, especially to children, can be avoided by following simple precautions such as:
- Use cabinets or stands recommended by the monitor manufacturer.
- Use only furniture that can safely support the monitor.
- Ensure the monitor does not overhang the edge of the supporting furniture.
- Do not place the monitor on high furniture (e.g., wardrobes or bookcases) without securing the furniture and monitor to a suitable support.
- Do not place the monitor on fabric or other materials that may be between the monitor and the supporting furniture.
- Educate children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the monitor or its controls. If your existing monitor is stored and moved, the same considerations as above should be followed.
14. Troubleshooting
Black Screen / Product Does Not Turn On:
- Check if the power adapter is connected correctly.
- Check if the power adapter is connected correctly to the 100-240 V AC socket.
- Check if the screen displays signal detection cable information, and check the cable connection between the connected system and this monitor.
- Various Inputs:
- a) Check if the DP input is selected as the source if you connect the DP cable after turning on the connected system. Disconnect and reconnect the DP cable while the connected system is in use. The screen may not display an image because some graphics cards cannot output a signal. In this case, restart the connected system after connecting the DP cable and/or update the graphics card drivers.
- b) If you connect the HDMI cable after turning on the connected system, check if the HDMI input is selected as the source. Disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable while the connected system is in use. The screen may not display an image because some graphics cards cannot output a signal. In this case, restart the connected system after connecting the HDMI cable and/or update the graphics card drivers.
