First Time Setup
Auto-Connect Earbuds
Press and hold the touch sensor on both earbuds for 3+ seconds to power on. One earbud will flash blue/white, indicating it is ready to pair with your device.

Connect Bluetooth
In your device settings, select 'JLab JBuds Air ANC'. You will hear 'Beep beep' and the white light will be solid, indicating you are connected.

Add New/More Bluetooth Devices
Turn off Bluetooth on previously connected devices. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select 'JLab JBuds Air ANC' in your new device's settings to connect.
Button Functions
Left Earbud
- Volume Down: Tap once.
- Siri (iOS) or 'OK Google' (ANDROID): Double tap.
- Awareness Mode/ANC On/ANC Off: Press and hold for 1+ second.
- Power On: Press and hold for 3+ seconds.
- Adjust EQ: Triple tap.
Right Earbud
- Volume Up: Tap once.
- Answer Call: Tap once.
- Hang Up: Double tap.
- Reject Call: Press and hold for 1+ second.
- Play/Pause: Double tap.
- Forward: Press and hold for 1+ second.
- Power On: Press and hold for 3+ seconds.
- Adjust EQ: Triple tap.
Music/Movie Mode
Simultaneously press and hold both touch sensors for 3 seconds. To turn off without placing in the charging case: Turn off Bluetooth from device settings. The earbuds will turn off automatically after 3 minutes.
Custom EQ3 Sound Modes
Tap the right or left earbud 3 times to cycle through different EQ settings (JBuds Air ANC will cycle through 3 EQ settings).
- JLab Classic Mode (Beep once): JLab C3™ signature sound, amplifying vocals and bass.
- Balanced Mode (Beep twice): Balanced sound, with no additional sound enhancements.
- Bass Boost Mode (Beep thrice): Amplifies bass and sub-bass.
Earbud Charging
Charging
Place earbuds into the correct 'L' (left) and 'R' (right) slots in the charging case. The earbuds will automatically turn off and begin charging. The blue indicator light indicates the earbud is charging and will turn off when fully charged.

Auto-On and Connect
After removing from the charging case, the earbuds will automatically power on and reconnect to your device.

Charging Case
Connect JBuds Air ANC to a computer or USB 5V 1A (or smaller) output device. While charging, the white light will flash; it will be solid white when fully charged.

Fit
Try all the included Cush Fin™ and ear tip options to find the best fit and seal. Cush Fin should sit flush around the microphone port.

Troubleshooting
One Earbud No Sound or Disconnected (Manual Reset)
Forget Device: In your device's Bluetooth settings, find and 'forget' the JBuds Air ANC.

Place Earbuds in Case: Open the charging case and place the earbuds inside.

Reset Earbuds: On one earbud, quickly tap the touch sensor 7 times. The blue indicator light will flash 3 times, then turn off. Repeat the same steps for the other earbud. Quickly tap the touch sensor 7 times. The blue indicator light will flash 3 times, then turn off.

Reconnect: Wait 10 seconds, then open the charging case. Wait for one earbud to flash blue/white to pair with your Bluetooth device.

Echo
If your JBuds Air ANC experiences microphone echo or call quality issues, ensure the Cush Fin is not blocking the microphone port.

Quick Tips & Warnings
Quick Tips
- Either earbud can be used independently to connect to your device. Simply take one earbud out of the charging case, and it will automatically connect.
- Choosing the right ear tip size can provide a better seal for improved audio quality. Try all ear tips for the best fit.
Warnings & Precautions
- Environment: Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
- Care: Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds. Earwax may build up in the ear tip and affect sound quality. Gently clean with a cotton swab or other small tool to improve sound quality.
- Usage: If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or temporarily stopping use. If you consistently experience discomfort while using this product, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
- Storage: We recommend treating your earbuds like a pair of sunglasses and storing them in a safe place when not in use.
- Charging Case Care: Wipe the earbuds dry before placing them in the charging case to prevent damage to the charging case. The earbuds are sweat/water resistant, but the charging case is not. ⚠️
