First-Time Setup
1. Auto-Pairing Earbuds
A. Remove the earbuds from the charging case and peel off the protective decals. [Description of decals being removed]
B. Press and hold the touch sensor on each earbud for over 3 seconds. A blinking blue and white light on one earbud indicates it's ready to pair with your device. [Description of touch sensor press and light indicator]
2. Bluetooth Connection
On your device, select "Epic Air Sport ANC" from your Bluetooth settings. An audio prompt with two beeps followed by solid white lights indicates you are connected. [Description of device settings screen showing connection]
Adding New / Additional Bluetooth Devices:
Turn off Bluetooth on any previously connected devices. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. Remove the earbuds from the case. They will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select "Epic Air Sport ANC" in the new device's settings to connect.
Download the App
Customize features for your Epic Air Sport ANC and update to the latest firmware. Download the "JLab Air ANC" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. [Description of App Store button] [Description of Google Play button]
Controls
Left Earbud Touch Sensor
- Volume Down: Single tap.
- Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): Double tap.
- Awareness Mode / ANC On / ANC Off: Press and hold for over 1 second.
- EQ Change: Triple tap.
Right Earbud Touch Sensor
- Volume Up: Single tap.
- Play/Pause: Double tap.
- Track Forward: Press and hold for over 1 second.
- EQ Change: Triple tap.
Answering Calls:
- Answer: Single tap on either earbud.
- End Call: Double tap on either earbud.
- Reject Incoming Call: Double tap and hold for over 1 second on either earbud.
Music / Movie Mode:
Press and hold both touch sensors simultaneously for over 3 seconds.
Turning Off Without Charging Case:
Turn off Bluetooth from your device's settings. The earbuds will automatically power off after 3 minutes.
Audio Prompts
- Power On: Beep.
- Bluetooth Pairing: "Ready to Pair". Your Epic Air Sport ANC is ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.
- Awareness Mode On/Off: 1 beep / 2 beeps.
- ANC On / Off: Beep.
- Bluetooth Connected: 2 beeps. Earbud is connected to device.
- Battery Full: "Battery Full" (100-80%).
- Battery Medium: "Battery Medium" (80-20%).
- Low Battery: "Battery Low" (Less than 20%. When power drops to 10%, "Low Battery" will play once).
- Power Off: Beep.
Equalizer (EQ) Modes
Triple tap one of the earbuds for different EQ settings. Audio prompts will announce the EQ settings (Epic Air Sport ANC cycles through 4 EQ modes). Customize each EQ setting by downloading the JLab Air ANC app from the Apple/Google Play Store.
- JLab Signature: JLab C3™ custom sound with amplified vocals and bass.
- Balanced: Even sound without extra amplification.
- Bass Boost: Enhanced bass and sub-bass.
- PIP: Custom EQ setting (download the JLab Air ANC app to customize).
Auto-Pairing / Power Management
1. The earbuds turn OFF and begin charging when placed in the charging case. Blue lights indicate the earbuds are charging and will turn off when fully charged. [Description of earbuds in case, blue charging light]

Charging
Wired Charging
Connect the Epic Air Sport ANC to a computer or USB power source rated at 5V 1A (or less). [Diagram showing USB cable connection to case and power source]
LED indicators blink white while charging and turn solid white when fully charged.
Wireless Charging

Fitting
Try all ear tip sizes for the best fit and proper seal.

Troubleshooting
No Sound in One Earbud or Earbuds Disconnected (Manual Reset)
- On your Bluetooth device, go to settings and "Forget" the Epic Air Sport ANC. [Fig. A Description]
- Place both earbuds in the charging case. Quickly tap the touch sensor on ONE earbud 7 times. The light will blink blue 3 times. [Fig. C Description]
- Repeat with the other earbud. Quickly tap the touch sensor 7 times. The light will blink blue 3 times. [Fig. C Description]
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Wait until one earbud becomes solid white and the other blinks blue/white. You are now ready to pair them with your Bluetooth device.
Bluetooth Device Not Connecting / Reconnecting
- On your Bluetooth device, go to settings and "Forget" the Epic Air Sport ANC. [Fig. A Description]
- Turn Bluetooth OFF, then turn it back ON. [Fig. B Description]
- Remove the earbuds from the case. Wait until one becomes solid white and the other blinks blue/white.
- Select "Epic Air Sport ANC" in your device's settings to reconnect.

Quick Tips
- The left or right earbud can be used independently for music and calls. Simply take one out of the case to connect.
- Only ONE Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. Turn off Bluetooth on unwanted devices and turn on Bluetooth on the desired device to connect.
- Completely dry the earbuds before placing them in the charging case to avoid damage to the case.
Warnings
Completely dry the earbuds before placing them in the charging case.
If the earbuds are damp or wet, this will damage the charging case. The warranty does not cover damage to the charging case due to water/sweat.
- Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
- Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.
- Earwax can build up on the earbud tips and degrade sound quality. Gently remove earwax with a cotton swab or small tool to improve sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or taking a break from using the earbuds.
- If you frequently experience discomfort while using the product, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
- We recommend treating your earbuds with the same care as a pair of fine sunglasses and storing them in a safe place when not in use.
