Music Sharing Mode
Note: Music Sharing Mode is only available for two LEXIN Model S units.
Setup
- To activate Music Sharing Mode, the connected Model S (Host Speaker A) and the other Model S (Slave Speaker B) must have their Bluetooth connections to smartphones disconnected. If Slave Speaker B is connected to a smartphone, Music Sharing Mode cannot be entered.
- If Host Speaker A cannot connect to Slave Speaker B within 60 seconds, Music Sharing Mode will automatically end, and it will return to smartphone Bluetooth pairing mode.
- While Host Speaker A and Slave Speaker B are connected, double-clicking the Play/Pause button on either unit will end the sharing mode and return to single playback mode.
Music Sharing Mode (Continued)
After Host Speaker A and Slave Speaker B are connected, the speaker connected to the smartphone becomes the Host Speaker (L channel), and the other speaker becomes the Slave Speaker (R channel).
During music sharing, double-clicking the Play/Pause button on either unit will end Music Sharing Mode. After ending Music Sharing Mode and restarting the device, the connection between Host Speaker A and Slave Speaker B will not be automatically restored; you will need to reconnect them.
Music Sharing Mode Procedure
Step 1: On the Host Speaker (A) connected to the smartphone, double-click the Play/Pause button. The green LED will flash rapidly, and an announcement will be made, indicating entry into Music Sharing Mode.
Turn on Slave Speaker (B). It will search automatically without connecting to a smartphone.
The diagram shows the helmet speaker with a button. Text indicates: "Host Speaker (connected to smartphone) double-click the Play/Pause button, the green LED will flash rapidly, and an announcement will be made."
Step 2: After Host Speaker (A) and Slave Speaker (B) are connected, Host Speaker (A) will have a slow flashing blue LED. Slave Speaker (B) will make an announcement and its blue LED will be solid.
The diagram shows two helmet speakers. One labeled "A (connection complete)" with a slow flashing blue light. The other labeled "B (connection complete)" with an announcement and solid blue light.
In Music Sharing Mode, both Model S units can play music simultaneously.
Music Sharing Mode Function Description
Host Speaker (A): Operations like music playback/pause/track skipping/volume adjustment on Host Speaker (A) will synchronize with Slave Speaker (B). If Host Speaker (A) is turned off, Slave Speaker (B) will exit Music Sharing Mode, return to Bluetooth pairing mode, and its blue light will flash.
Slave Speaker (B): Slave Speaker (B) can adjust its own volume. This adjustment is not synchronized with Host Speaker (A). Slave Speaker (B) can also exit Music Sharing Mode.
Sharing Reconnection
If the units move out of the connection range during Music Sharing Mode, the sharing will be interrupted. It will automatically reconnect when back within range.
If the power of either device is turned off and then restarted, it will automatically re-enter Music Sharing Mode.
Ending Music Sharing Mode
- From Host Speaker (A): Double-click the Play/Pause button on Host Speaker (A) to exit Music Sharing Mode. Host Speaker (A) will then enter smartphone pairing mode.
- From Slave Speaker (B): Double-click the Play/Pause button on Slave Speaker (B) to exit Music Sharing Mode. Slave Speaker (B) will then return to Bluetooth pairing mode, and its blue light will flash rapidly.
