LED Light Modes

LINE-IN Mode
When the LINE-IN cable is connected to the BassBucket, it functions as an audio output device with a solid green indicator light. The device automatically switches to LINE-IN mode upon connection. If the LINE-IN cable is disconnected, it automatically switches back to Bluetooth mode.
Sharing Mode
Note: Sharing mode requires more than two BassBucket devices.
When sharing mode is active, one BassBucket device remains connected to the mobile phone (the host). Other BassBucket devices act as secondary units and must disconnect from the phone to enter sharing mode. If a secondary device does not connect to the host within 60 seconds, it will exit sharing mode and return to Bluetooth pairing mode. The host device does not have an automatic exit function and must be manually exited from sharing mode.
Host and Secondary Device Pairing
Step 1:
- Host (Device A): With a mobile phone connected, double-click the LED light button. The green indicator will blink rapidly, and a voice prompt will announce "Sharing mode activated".
- Secondary (Device B): When powered on and no phone is connected, double-click the LED light button. The green indicator will blink rapidly, and a voice prompt will announce "Sharing mode activated".
Diagrams illustrating the pairing process for Device A (with phone connected) and Device B (without phone connected), showing LED indicators and voice prompts.
Step 2: After successful pairing between Device A and Device B, Device A's indicator light will blink blue slowly. Device B will indicate "Slave speaker connected" and its indicator light will blink blue slowly.
Diagrams showing the LED status for connected Device A and Device B, including the voice prompt for the slave connection.
When the host device is in sharing mode and audio is playing, repeat the above steps for other devices. This allows multiple BassBucket devices to play the same audio as the host, enabling 1-to-N audio playback.
Sharing Mode Remarks
If a device powers off in sharing mode, it will default to sharing mode upon the next power-on. The host will indicate "Main speaker mode" (fast green LED), and the secondary will indicate "Slave speaker mode" (fast green LED). The host and secondary devices will automatically reconnect after powering on.
To return to individual Bluetooth pairing mode, double-click the LED button.
Button Control in Sharing Mode
- Host Device: Controls music playback, pause, previous/next song, and volume for all secondary devices. If the host powers off, all secondary devices will enter sharing mode pairing state.
- Secondary Device: Can only adjust volume, exit sharing mode, or power off. These operations are not synchronized with the host.
Automatic Reconnection in Sharing Mode
In sharing mode, if the host and secondary devices disconnect due to exceeding effective distance, they will automatically reconnect when they return within range.
Exiting Sharing Mode
In sharing mode, double-click the LED light button on either the host or secondary device to exit sharing mode and return to Bluetooth pairing mode.
Software Update
The BassBucket device can be updated via its USB C port using a dedicated USB C data cable.
