Button Operation

Volume Touchpad: Swipe forward/backward to increase/decrease volume. Tap anywhere to set volume.

Power Button: Press and hold for 3 seconds to power on/off. Click to play/pause music, answer/hang up calls, disconnect Bluetooth. Double-click to reject calls or disconnect Bluetooth.

LED Light Button: Click to change LED trim light color (red, green, blue, multi-color fade in/out, Bluetooth indicator). Double-click to activate Music Sharing mode.

Previous Button: Click to play previous track. Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn off LED light.

Next Button: Click to play next track, battery life prompt. Double-click for battery life prompt.

Basic Operation

Power On/Off

Power On: Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds until the LED flashes blue and the voice reports current battery life.

Power Off: Press and hold the Power Button until the voice reports “Power Off”.

Note: The device will automatically shut down in 30 minutes if no device connects.

Battery Life Prompt

While in standby mode, double-click the Next Button. The BassBucket will report the current battery life in 4 levels: 100%, 80%, 50%, 30%.

Note: When the battery capacity is low, it will notify you every 15 seconds and automatically shut down after 3 prompts or two consecutive prompts.

Battery Charge

Supports PD fast charge (5V/2A, 5V/3A, maximum power input 15W). PD high voltage fast charge is not supported.

Supports regular charge (5V/1A, 5V/2A, 5V/3A).

It takes about 4 hours for a full charge.

Reset

If the system is stuck and button functions are invalid, click the 3.5mm LINE-IN input headphone jack with a small sharp object (non-metallic, e.g., toothpick) to reset the system.

Bluetooth Mode

Phone Pairing

Step 1: When powered on, the light flashes blue quickly and enters Bluetooth pairing mode.

Step 2: Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings, find the Bluetooth named "BassBucket".

Step 3: Connect to "BassBucket". The device will report “pairing successful” and the light will blink blue slowly, indicating connection is complete.

Note: For a slave speaker in Audio Sharing mode, you cannot pair it with a mobile phone. You need to double-click the LED light button to switch back to Bluetooth mode first.

Mobile Phone Bluetooth Connection

With Bluetooth on in your mobile phone, the BassBucket will automatically connect to the last two successfully connected phones.

Clear Bluetooth Pairing

Press and hold the Previous and Next Buttons for 3 seconds to clear all Bluetooth pairing history and enter new Bluetooth pairing mode simultaneously. The indicator light will flash blue quickly.

Connect With 2 Mobile Phones

Step 1: Mobile phone A - Connect the BassBucket using the steps shown above (Phone pairing).

Step 2: Double-click the Power Button on BassBucket to enter a new pairing mode and disconnect from the last connected mobile phone (A). Use Mobile phone B to connect to BassBucket as per the above steps (Phone pairing).

Step 3: BassBucket will appear in the Bluetooth list of Mobile phone A. Click it to reconnect.

Step 4: After both mobile phones are paired and connected successfully, the BassBucket will automatically reconnect to both phones upon powering on again.

Note: The mobile phone that starts playing audio first will have priority. To play audio from another phone, pause the first phone's music.

Sound Mode Switch, Phone Call, Music Control, Volume Control

Sound Mode Switch

Standard Mode/Outdoor Mode Switching: The default mode is standard mode. Double-click the Previous Button to switch between standard mode and outdoor mode.

Note: The standard mode enhances bass, and the outdoor mode enhances the mids and high sounds, providing maximum volume.

Phone Call

Answer Phone Call: To answer an incoming call, click the Power Button.

End Phone Call: Click the Power Button to end the phone call.

Reject Phone Call: With BassBucket device connected, double-click the Power Button to reject an incoming phone call.

Bluetooth Disconnection: Double-click the Power Button to disconnect from the mobile phone and enter a new pairing mode.

Music Control

Play/Pause: Click the Power Button to play/pause a track.

Previous/Next: Click the Previous/Next Button to switch previous/next track.

Volume Control

Volume Up: Swipe forward on the Volume Touchpad to increase the volume.

Volume Down: Swipe backward on the Volume Touchpad to decrease the volume.

Note: You can also touch anywhere on the Volume Touchpad to set the volume.

LED Trim Light Control, LINE-IN Mode, Music Sharing Mode

LED Trim Light Control

Change Color: Click the LED Light Button to change the trim light color, cycling through red, green, blue, multi-color fade in/out, and Bluetooth working indicator.

Resume Light Indicator: Press and hold the LED Light Button for 3 seconds to go back to the working indicator.

Turn Off LED Light: Press and hold the Previous Button for 3 seconds to turn off the LED light. Click the LED Light Button again to turn it on.

LINE-IN Mode

Use the LINE-IN auxiliary cable to connect to BassBucket. The BassBucket can be used as an audio output device, and the indicator light will be solid green.

With the LINE-IN auxiliary cable connected, the device will automatically enter the LINE-IN auxiliary mode after it is turned on. If the LINE-IN cable is unplugged, the device will automatically enter Bluetooth mode.

Music Sharing Mode

Note: Music sharing mode can only be used for two or more BassBucket devices.

When music sharing mode is activated, one BassBucket device remains connected to the mobile phone (the host device). Other BassBucket devices need to disconnect from the mobile phone and then connect to the host device as a slave device.

If a slave device does not connect successfully with the host device for 60 seconds, it will exit music sharing mode and return to Bluetooth pairing mode. The host will not exit automatically and needs to be exited manually.

Host and Slave Device Pairing

Step 1:

  • Device A (with mobile phone connected): Double-click the LED Light Button. The green light flashes quickly, and the voice prompt is "Sharing mode on".
  • Device B (without mobile phone connected): Double-click the LED Light Button. The green light flashes quickly, and the voice prompt is "Sharing mode on".

Step 2:

  • After device A and device B are successfully paired, the indicator light of device A flashes blue slowly.
  • After device B and device A are successfully paired, device B prompts "Slave speaker connected", and the indicator light flashes slowly in blue.

With the host device in music sharing mode and music playing, users can add unlimited BassBucket devices to play the same audio from the host device.

Firmware Upgrade

The BassBucket device firmware can be upgraded through the USB C port by using a dedicated USB C data cable.

Troubleshooting

Problems Troubleshoot
Unable To Boot
  1. Please check whether the power of the speaker device is sufficient.
  2. The battery may be in protection mode or the battery is completely discharged; please charge the device.
  3. Please make sure that the power-on operation is completely correct.
No Sound
  1. Please check whether the speaker device has been connected to the mobile phone correctly.
  2. Please check if the speaker volume is set to the lowest; please try to increase the volume.
  3. Please try to connect with another device.
Unable To Connect Or Pair With Bluetooth Device
  1. Please check if the speaker device is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
  2. Please check whether the Bluetooth option of the mobile phone has been turned on.
Sound Distorted Or Cut In And Out
  1. Please confirm whether the audio file is damaged and try to switch to another music source.
  2. Keep away from high-power electronic interference sources.
  3. Check if the distance between the speaker and the mobile phone is more than 10 meters.

  3. Please cut off the power of this device in thunderstorm days or when it is not used for a long time.
  4. For any maintenance matters, please consult the after-sales customer service of the merchant. It should be repaired in time if there is any damage to the speaker device, such as a damaged power cord or damaged plug, objects falling into the device, unable to function properly, or being dropped.

Warranty

LEXIN warrants that this product shall conform to and perform in accordance with published technical specifications and the accompanying written materials and shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase by the first consumer purchaser of the product.

The limited warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser of the product and is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent purchaser/end-user.

This warranty is limited to repair or replace under LEXIN's discretion of defective or unqualified product, and LEXIN shall not be responsible for the failure of the product to function properly or for any other condition not covered by the LEXIN warranty due to:

  • (a) Any incorrect using or misuse of the product.
  • (b) Not adhering to LEXIN's specific specifications or instructions.
  • (c) Man-made damage caused by neglect, misuse, or accident of the product.
  • (d) Damage by using any auxiliary equipment or software not furnished by LEXIN.

Please return the product to LEXIN or to the LEXIN international distributor where it was purchased, provide the proof of purchase and receipt date to obtain the warranty during the validity period.
