This document is the official user manual (Version 2.0) for the LEXIN BassBucket, a unique helmet-shaped Bluetooth speaker designed for motorcycles. It features an innovative design and offers high-quality audio and connectivity.

Basic Operation
Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds. The device will power on and announce the battery level.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
- Check Battery Level: Double-press the Power button to hear the battery level announcement.
Note: If the device is powered on and remains unconnected for 30 minutes, it will automatically power off.
Battery Level Indicators
Battery level is indicated in four stages: 100% → 80% → 50% → 30%. When the battery is low, it will announce the battery level every 15 seconds. After three consecutive announcements or two repeated announcements, the device will automatically power off.
Charging
- Connect the USB TYPE-C charging cable to a USB AC adapter.
- Note: A USB AC adapter is not included and must be purchased separately.
- The device supports 5V/2A or 5V/3A PD chargers, with a maximum output of 15W. It is not compatible with other PD charger specifications.
- Compatible charger specifications include 5V/1A, 5V/2A, 5V/3A, with a maximum charging current of 3A.
- A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.
Factory Reset
If the software malfunctions and buttons become unresponsive, insert a thin, pointed object (non-metallic, such as a toothpick) into the AUX input port once to restore factory settings.

Bluetooth Pairing
Pairing with Smartphone
On your smartphone's Bluetooth settings, select "BassBucket" to initiate pairing.
Bluetooth Pairing Process
- Power On: Blue LED blinks rapidly.
- Entering Pairing Mode: Blue LED blinks rapidly.
- Pairing Complete: Blue LED blinks slowly.
- Disconnect Bluetooth: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
Notes:
- 1. In music sharing mode, the slave unit cannot connect to the smartphone. Press the LED button twice to return to Bluetooth connection mode before pairing.
- 2. Reconnecting to Smartphone: When powered on, the device automatically reconnects to the last paired smartphone.
Sound Effect Switching
Sound effects are available in two modes: Standard and Outdoor. The default mode is Standard. Quickly double-press the previous track button to switch between Standard and Outdoor modes.
Note: Standard mode enhances bass, while Outdoor mode enhances mid-high frequencies.
Phone Control (Call Handling)
Using the Power button:
- 1 press: Answer an incoming call.
- 1 press: End an ongoing call.
- 2 consecutive presses: Reject an incoming call.
- 2 consecutive presses: Disconnect the smartphone connection and return to pairing mode.
2-Smartphone Simultaneous Connection
Follow these steps to connect two smartphones:
- After powering on, pair with Smartphone A following the standard Bluetooth pairing procedure. The blue LED will blink slowly.
- Press the Power button twice to disconnect from Smartphone A and enter pairing mode. The blue LED will blink rapidly.
- On Smartphone B's connection screen, select "BassBucket" to pair. The blue LED will blink slowly.
- On Smartphone A's connection screen, select "BassBucket" to reconnect. The blue LED will blink slowly.
Note: If both smartphones play music simultaneously, the smartphone that was connected first will have playback priority. If music playback on one smartphone is paused, it will automatically switch to the other smartphone.
Volume Adjustment
- Slide from back to front: Increases volume.
- Slide from front to back: Decreases volume.
- 1 press: Pauses music playback.
- 1 press: Resumes music playback.
- 1 press: Returns to the previous track.
- 1 press: Advances to the next track.
LED Mode Switching
- 1 press: Turns LED mode on.
- 3-second long press: Turns LED mode off, returning to the previous LED blinking state.
- 3-second long press: Turns the LED off completely.
- Repeated presses: Cycles through Red, Green, Blue, and seven multi-color LED blinking modes.
AUX Input Mode
Connect the AUX cable to your device and the BassBucket. The product will function as an audio output device, and the LED lamp will light up green.
When connected via AUX cable, powering on the device enters AUX input mode. Removing the AUX cable switches the device back to Bluetooth connection mode.
Music Sharing Mode
Note: Multiple BassBucket units can be connected simultaneously via Bluetooth.
In music sharing mode, connect your smartphone to the master BassBucket unit. Other BassBucket units can be connected as slave units. Slave units must disconnect from their own smartphones to participate. Slave units connected to smartphones will not enter music sharing mode.
If a slave unit fails to connect to the master unit within 60 seconds, it will automatically exit music sharing mode and enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The master unit does not have an automatic exit function; manual exit is required.
Master and Slave Pairing
Step 1: Press the LED light twice.
- Master (connected to smartphone): Press LED light twice; the green LED blinks rapidly.
- Slave (not connected to smartphone): Press LED light twice; the green LED blinks rapidly.
Step 2: When pairing is complete, the blue LED blinks slowly.
- Master (pairing complete): Blue LED blinks slowly.
- Slave (pairing complete): Blue LED blinks slowly.
With music sharing mode, additional slave units can be connected by following the same steps. Up to two or more BassBucket units can be connected simultaneously, allowing for high-volume music enjoyment.
Note: If the power is turned off in music sharing mode, upon restart, the master and slave units will automatically reconnect and enter music sharing mode. If you need to return to Bluetooth pairing mode, you must press the LED button twice.
Description of Functions in Music Sharing Mode
- Master Unit: Controls music playback, pause, track skipping, and volume adjustment for all connected slave units. If the master unit is powered off, slave units will return to shared pairing mode (green LED blinking rapidly).
- Slave Unit: In music sharing mode, slave units can adjust volume, exit sharing mode, and power off. Operations on slave units are not synchronized with the master unit.
Shared Connection Recovery
If the master and slave units move out of the connection range during music sharing, the connection will be interrupted. They will automatically reconnect when they return within the connection range.
Ending Music Sharing Mode
- Master Unit: While sharing music, press the LED button twice. The master unit will exit music sharing mode and return to smartphone pairing mode. Slave units will return to shared pairing mode.
- Slave Unit: While sharing music, press the LED button twice. The slave unit will exit music sharing mode and return to smartphone pairing mode. The blue LED will blink rapidly.
Software Update
Updates can be performed by connecting the USB TYPE-C charging cable to the USB TYPE-C port. Over-The-Air (OTA) updates are also supported.

Warranty Information
Warranty Period: The warranty period is two years from the date of purchase. LEXIN will provide free repair or replacement with an equivalent product for manufacturing defects or material failures within this period, at LEXIN's discretion.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, unauthorized repairs or modifications, or natural disasters. Storing the unit with a low battery charge can degrade the internal battery over time; always charge before storage and recharge periodically (e.g., once a month) for long-term storage.
Important Notes:
- Use the included charging cable for charging. Charging may not work with other cables.
- The main unit features water-resistant construction, but the microphone and speaker are not waterproof. After riding in the rain, wipe off moisture from the unit, microphone, speaker, and connectors.
- Speaker microphones are considered consumables and have a 6-month warranty. LEXIN is not liable for loss, wear, damage, or connection issues during the warranty period or normal use.
- LEXIN is not liable for any direct or indirect damages (including but not limited to accidents, injuries, loss of time, inconvenience, loss of profit, or incidental expenses) resulting from product failure.
- Units with significant external damage or cracks are not covered by the warranty.
- Water ingress damage is not covered by warranty under any circumstances.
