Care, Cleaning & Maintenance
Clean the training device after each use with a damp cloth to remove sweat and liquids. Do not use solvents. Dry cleaned areas thoroughly. Regular cleaning maintains the device's good condition and extends its service life. Costs for repairing a device not properly maintained are not covered by the warranty. Clean traction cables regularly.
Cleaning and Lubricating Guide Pipes: The barbell bar guide pipes must be cleaned and lubricated regularly for optimum smooth running. Clean them with a damp cloth and liquid soap or washing-up liquid. Alternatively, use MAXXUS® degreaser spray (optional). Dry the pipes thoroughly and lubricate with MAXXUS® lubricant spray (optional), leaving a thin film. Lubricate guide pipes monthly. If squeaking occurs, lubricate immediately. MAXXUS® degreaser and lubricating sprays are available from the MAXXUS online shop (www.maxxus.de) or showrooms.
Maintenance
Checking Fixing Materials: At least once a month, check that screws and nuts are securely tightened and tighten them if necessary.

Training Recommendations
Preparation Before Training
Before starting, ensure your training device is in perfect condition and your body is prepared. If you haven't trained recently, consult your GP for a fitness check-up and discuss your training targets for advice. This is especially important for individuals over 35, overweight, or with heart/circulatory issues.
Training Plan
An effective, target-oriented, and motivating training plan is essential. Integrate fitness training into your daily routine. Without a plan, training can be easily postponed. Create a long-term monthly plan rather than a day-to-day or week-to-week approach. Include motivation and distraction techniques, such as watching TV during training. Set realistic targets and reward yourself upon achieving them.
Warm-Up Before Training
Warm up on the device for 3-5 minutes at minimum resistance to prepare your body for exertion.
Cool-Down After Training
Do not stop training abruptly. Continue for 3-5 minutes at minimum resistance to cool down, similar to the warm-up. Afterward, stretch your muscles thoroughly.
Exercise Descriptions:
- Front Thigh Muscles: Stand with support. Bend one knee, bringing your foot towards your glutes with the same hand. Keep your knee pointing down. Hold for 10-15 seconds, feeling a light pull in the thigh. Repeat with the other leg.
- Inner Thigh Muscles: Sit on the floor, soles of feet together, knees bent. Grasp feet, place elbows on thighs, and gently press knees down. Hold for 10-15 seconds. Keep your upper body straight. Release pressure and stretch legs forward.
- Legs, Calves and Buttocks: Sit on the floor, stretch one leg, bend the other, placing its sole on the stretched thigh. Lean forward, reaching towards toes with the opposite hand. Hold for 10-15 seconds. Repeat with the other leg.
- Leg and Lower Back Muscles: Sit on the floor with legs extended. Reach forward with hands towards toes. Hold for 10-15 seconds. Return to a seated position.
Intake of Liquids
Adequate liquid intake is vital. During a 60-minute session, you can lose up to 0.5 liters. Drink a mix of one-third apple juice and two-thirds water to replenish electrolytes and minerals. Drink approximately 330 ml 30 minutes before training and ensure sufficient hydration during the session.
Training Frequency
Weight training 3-4 days a week is recommended. Train more regularly to reach targets faster. Allow sufficient recovery days between sessions; a one-day break is advised. The principle of "less is often more" applies to fitness and weight training.
Trainings Records
To optimize training, create a training plan. Record your sessions and how you feel. A sample weekly plan table is provided for tracking exercises, sequences, repetitions, and comments.
Explanation of Terms: Training sequences typically involve 10-12 repetitions with a 1-2 minute rest between sequences. Weights usually increase with each sequence.
Sample Training Session:
- Sequence 1: 20 kg - 10 Repetitions (1 min break)
- Sequence 2: 25 kg - 10 Repetitions (1 min break)
- Sequence 3: 30 kg - 10 Repetitions (1 min break)
- Sequence 4: 35 kg - 10 Repetitions (1 min break)
