Assembly
Carefully unpack all delivered parts. Have someone help you, as some parts are bulky and heavy. Check that all parts and fixing materials (screws, nuts, etc.) have been delivered. Assemble parts carefully; damages or defects due to assembly mistakes are not covered by warranty. Read assembly instructions carefully before starting, follow each step exactly, and keep to the correct sequence.
Assembly must be carried out thoroughly by an adult person only. Assemble the training device in a level, clean, and clear location. Two people are required for assembly. Be aware of the possible risk of injury during assembly and use. Always be careful and thorough in your actions.
Initially, hand-tighten parts for each stage of assembly. Only tighten parts completely when all parts have been fitted together perfectly. Training can only start when the device is fully and correctly assembled.
Note: Some components may have sharp edges; wear suitable protective gloves during the entire assembly process.
Step 1: Preparation
Remove all components from packaging. Mark drill holes on the wall where the HomeGym H1 will be mounted, ensuring the wall is suitable. Use appropriate wall plugs and screws for your wall type; consult a specialist if unsure. To mark holes precisely, place the base frame against the wall in the desired location. Ask one or two people for assistance. Use a spirit level to ensure the HomeGym H1 is level before marking the holes. Once level, drill the holes in the wall.
Step 2: Attaching Rear Panel
Insert the locking pin (24) into the traction unit of the HomeGym H1. Attach the rear panel (31) to the back of the HomeGym H1 using the M6 x 15 screws (52).
Diagram Description: Shows the insertion of locking pin (24) into the traction unit and the rear panel (31) being attached with screws (52).
Step 3: Wall Mounting
Fix the HomeGym H1 to the wall. After fixing the four screws, ensure they are properly secured and firmly fixed.
Diagram Description: Illustrates four drill holes on the unit, indicating points for wall mounting.
Step 4: Attaching Front Cover
Fix the front cover using the washers (18) and screws M8x15 (41) to the front of the HomeGym H1.
Diagram Description: Shows the front cover being attached with washers (18) and screws (41).
Step 5: Attaching Handles
Hook the 2 handles (29) onto the two brackets on the traction unit using the snap hooks (22). If a longer reach is needed, use the chains included in delivery (53) or obtain suitable longer chains from a DIY or hardware store.
Diagram Description: Depicts handles (29) being attached to brackets with snap hooks (22), with chains (53) shown as an optional extension.
Functions
The traction unit of the HomeGym H1 can be adjusted in 26 different vertical positions. To adjust, pull out the handle of the safety pin from the traction unit, move it to the desired position, and let the safety pin snap back into place.

Cleaning & Maintenance
Cleaning
Clean the training device each time after training with a damp cloth to remove sweat and liquids. Do not use solvents. Dry cleaned areas thoroughly. Regular cleaning keeps the device in good condition and contributes significantly to its service life. Costs for repairing a device not properly maintained will not be covered by warranty. Clean traction cables regularly.
Cleaning and Lubricating the Chrome Guide Pipes
The weight plate guide pipes and guide tubes must be cleaned and lubricated regularly for optimum smooth running. Clean them with a damp cloth and liquid soap or washing-up liquid. Alternatively, use MAXXUS® degreaser spray (optionally available). Dry the guide pipes thoroughly and lubricate them with MAXXUS® lubricant spray (optionally available), leaving a thin film. Lubricate guide pipes once a month. If squeaking noises occur, lubricate immediately. MAXXUS® degreaser and lubricating sprays are available from the online shop at www.maxxus.com.
Maintenance
Checking the Fixing Materials: At least once a month, check that screws and nuts are tightened securely and tighten them if necessary.
Disposal
This device is recyclable and must be disposed of properly at the end of its serviceable life. Never dispose of the training device in normal household waste. Dispose of it at a municipal or authorized waste disposal company. Observe current regulations. If in doubt, inquire at your municipal or local authority about authorized and environmentally friendly disposal services.

Training Recommendations
Preparation Before Training
Before training, ensure your device is in perfect condition and your body is prepared. If you haven't done endurance training recently, consult your GP for a fitness check-up and discuss training targets for valuable advice. This is especially important for individuals over 35, those with overweight, or heart/circulatory system problems.
Training Plan
An effective, target-oriented, and motivating training requires a forward-looking plan. Integrate fitness training into your daily routine. Without a fixed plan, training can interfere with commitments or be postponed indefinitely. Create a long-term monthly plan, not just day-to-day or week-to-week. Include motivation and distraction during sessions, such as watching TV. Reward yourself and set realistic targets (e.g., losing 1-2 kg in four weeks, increasing training time by 10 minutes within two weeks). Reward achievements with a favorite meal.
Warm-Up Before Training
Warm up on your training device for 3-5 minutes at minimum resistance to prepare your body for exertion.
Cool-Down After Training
Do not stop training abruptly. Continue for 3-5 minutes at minimum resistance to cool down, then stretch your muscles thoroughly.
Specific Exercises
Front Thigh Muscles
Support yourself with your right hand against a wall or the training device. Bend your left knee and raise your left foot backwards, holding it with your left hand. Keep your knee pointing straight down. Pull your leg backwards until you feel a light pull in your thigh muscles. Hold for 10-15 seconds. Release and return your foot to the floor. Repeat with your right leg.
Inner Thigh Muscles
Sit on the floor, bringing the soles of your feet together in front of you, raising your knees slightly. Grasp the upper sides of your feet and place your elbows on your thighs. Press your thighs down towards the floor with your arms until you feel a light pull in your thigh muscles. Hold for 10-15 seconds, keeping your upper body straight. Release pressure and slowly stretch your legs forward. Stand up slowly and steadily.
Legs, Calves and Buttocks
Sit on the floor, stretch out your right leg, and bend your left leg, placing the sole of your foot on your right thigh. Bend your upper body forward, reaching with your right hand to touch your right toes. Hold for 10-15 seconds. Release your toes and sit slowly and steadily upright. Repeat with your left leg.
Leg and Lower Back Muscles
Sit on the floor with your legs stretched out. Stretch forward with your hands, trying to grasp your toes with both hands. Hold for 10-15 seconds. Release your toes and slowly and steadily sit back upright.
Intake of Liquids
Sufficient liquid intake before and during training is vital. During a 60-minute session, up to 0.5 liters of liquid can be lost. To compensate, drink a mix of one-third apple juice to two-thirds water to replace electrolytes and minerals lost through sweat. Drink approximately 330 ml 30 minutes before training and ensure adequate hydration during training.
Training Frequency
Experts recommend weight training 3-4 days a week for quicker target achievement. Allow sufficient breaks for recovery and regeneration. Take at least a one-day break after each training session. The principle of "less is often more" applies to fitness and weight training.
Training Records
To optimize training, create a training plan (written or digital). Record training sessions and how you feel. A recommended weekly plan table is provided for tracking Date, Exercise, Sequences 1-4 (Weight and Repetitions), and Comments.
Explanation of Terms: Weight training exercises typically consist of 3-4 sequences, each with 10-12 repetitions. A 1-2 minute recovery break is recommended between sequences. Weights usually increase with each sequence. Example session: 20kg/10 reps, 25kg/10 reps, 30kg/10 reps, 35kg/10 reps, with 1-minute breaks.
