Labelife Label Printer Quick Start Guide

This guide provides instructions for setting up and operating your Labelife label printer with a computer.

1. Printing on a Computer

This section outlines the steps to connect and prepare your label printer for use with a computer.

  1. Connect Power Adapter: Connect the power adapter to the power cable.
  2. Connect Power to Printer: Plug the power cable into the printer's power port.
  3. Plug into Outlet: Connect the power adapter to a wall outlet. The printer supports both 115 VAC and 230 VAC power supplies.
  4. Turn On Printer: Press the power button to turn on the printer.
  5. Connect to Computer: Use a USB cable to connect the printer to your computer. The computer's USB port is typically located on the back or side.
  6. Printer Ready: Ensure the printer is powered on and connected.
  7. Insert Labels: Insert the label roll into the printer, ensuring the peelable side of the labels faces upwards. Make sure the labels are straight and smooth.
  8. Feed Labels: Hold the feeder button until the blue light on the printer flashes two times. This indicates the labels are properly loaded and ready.

2. Driver and Software Installation

Follow these steps to download and install the necessary drivers and software for your Labelife printer.

  1. Access Download Link: Open the following link in your web browser: https://labelife.cc/pm246s.
  2. Download Driver: On the download page, select and download the appropriate driver for your computer system:
    • For Windows: Look for "Driver for Windows" (represented by the Windows logo ⊞).
    • For macOS: Look for "Driver for MacOS" (represented by the Apple logo ).
  3. Run Driver Installation:
    • For Windows: Run the "Label Printer Driver Setup_Release_v1.3.4 Setup Wizard". Follow the on-screen prompts. Once installation is complete, a message "Setup has finished installing Label Printer Driver Setup_Release_v1.3.4 on your computer" will appear. Click "Finish" and you may choose to "Open the control panel".
    • For macOS: Run the "Install Label Printer" application. The installation process will show steps like Introduction, Destination Select, Installation Type, Installation, and Summary. Upon successful completion, a message "The installation was successful. The software was installed." will be displayed. Click "Close".
