PM-241-BT Label Printer
This guide provides instructions for setting up and using your PM-241-BT label printer.

The plug type of the Power Adapter varies by region.
1.2 Printer Parts
- Indicator Light: Shows printer status.
- Feed Button: Used for paper feeding and calibration.
- Top Cover: Covers the print head and paper path.
- Paper Outlet: Where printed labels emerge.
- Cover Open Button: Releases the top cover.
- Power Interface: Connects to the power adapter.
- Power Button: Turns the printer on/off.
- USB-B Port: Connects to a computer via USB cable.
- Print Head: Where the label is printed.
- Adjustable Paper Guide: Guides the label paper.
- Paper Feed Roller: Feeds the label paper.
2. Preparation Before Use
2.1 Removing the Protective Paper of Print Head
- Press the Cover Open Button and lift the Top Cover to 90 degrees.
- Long press the Feed Button until the blue indicator light flashes twice. The printer will auto-calibrate and stop the paper at the Paper Outlet.
Indicator Light Status: Slow flashing red light indicates no paper installed.
2.2 Connecting to the Power Supply
- Plug the round end of the Power Adapter into the printer's Power Interface.
- Plug the Power Cord into an electrical outlet (e.g., 115 VAC or 230 VAC).
- Press the Power Button on the back of the printer to turn it on. The Indicator Light on the Top Cover will illuminate.
2.3 Installing Label Paper
- With the print side facing up, insert the label paper flat into the paper guide slot at the back of the printer until it auto-feeds.
Ensure the paper is aligned correctly with the guides.

3.2 Printing via Mobile Devices
- Open the "Labelife" app.
- Tap [Connect to Printer].
- Grant necessary permissions. The app may require access to your printer or nearby devices.
- Wait for the printer to be connected.
- Tap [Print] to print your first label.
3.3 Permission Description
For Android: The app requires permission to search for nearby Bluetooth devices. For Android 12+, this is direct Bluetooth permission. For versions below Android 12, GPS permission is needed to search for Bluetooth devices.
For iOS: The app requires Internet access and Bluetooth permission for a better user experience.
When pairing via Bluetooth, you can tap "Pair" without granting access to contacts or call history.
4. Printing via Computer
4.1 Connecting with USB Cable
- Plug the USB-A end (wider end) of the cable into a USB-A port on your computer (horizontal or vertical).
- Plug the USB-B end (narrower end) of the cable into the USB-B port on the printer.
4.2 Downloading and Installing the Driver
Please visit pm241.labelife.cc to download the driver.
For Windows: When connected to the Internet and the printer is powered on, Windows computers will automatically install the driver once linked via USB. Alternatively, double-click the downloaded driver installation package and run the setup program. Upon successful installation, the printer will be accessible from the Control Panel.
For macOS: You need to access System Settings to manually add the printer (Printers & Scanners > Add Printer).
Support for Linux is limited; please contact customer service.
4.3 Printing PDFs
- Double-click to open the PDF file you wish to print.
For optimal print quality, use the recommended software for your operating system:
- For macOS: The built-in Preview app is recommended.
- For Windows: Download and use Adobe Reader.
- Click [Print] to start printing.
- Tear off the label along the perforation.
- Remove the backing.
- Stick the label onto a dry, flat surface.

5.1 Chrome Extension
This Chrome browser extension allows you to use label printers with ChromeOS and macOS devices. Install it from the Chrome Web Store.
5.2 Application for Computers
The Labelife application for computers features PDF import, cropping, and drawing capabilities. It offers various fonts, styles, frames, images, and barcodes for label creation. Available for Windows and macOS.
5.3 Application for Mobile Devices
This application allows you to import and crop PDFs on mobile devices, use built-in templates, create and edit labels, and print directly. Available for Android and iOS (iPhone, iPad) via App Store and Google Play.
