Printing on a Computer

This section outlines the steps to connect the Labelife PM-246S printer to a computer and load labels.

1. Power Connection

Connect the power adapter to the printer's power input port.
Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet. The printer supports both 115 VAC and 230 VAC power sources.
Turn on the printer using the power switch.

2. Computer Connection

Connect the USB cable from the printer to an available USB port on your computer.

3. Loading Labels

Insert the label roll into the printer, ensuring the peelable side of the labels faces upwards and they are straight and smooth.
Hold the feeder button until the blue light on the printer flashes two times. This indicates the labels are correctly loaded and calibrated.

Driver Installation

To enable printing from your computer, you need to install the appropriate printer driver.

1. Download Driver

Open your web browser and navigate to the following link to download the corresponding driver for your computer system: https://labelife.cc/pm246s. Select either the 'Driver for Windows' or 'Driver for macOS' option based on your operating system.

2. Install Driver

For Windows:

Run the downloaded 'Label Printer Driver Setup_Release_v1.3.4 Setup Wizard'. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation. Once finished, click 'Finish' to exit the setup. You may choose to open the control panel after installation.

For macOS:

Run the downloaded installer. The installation will proceed and display a message indicating 'The installation was successful. The software was installed.' Click 'Close' to complete.

1. Chrome Extension Installation

For ChromeOS system computers and macOS Chrome browser users, you can add the "Labelife" extension from the Chrome Web Store. This extension is NOT compatible with the Windows Chrome browser.

Search for "Labelife" in the Chrome Web Store and click the "Add to Chrome" button to install the extension.
