Aldes B63 BDH 10-40 Hygro-Regulated Extraction Grille
Model: 11015329
Type: Simple Flow Hygro-Regulated Extraction Grille - White, Without Spigot
Product Overview
The Aldes BDH grille is a hygro-regulated extraction unit designed for sanitary spaces such as bathrooms and WCs. It ensures sufficient and continuous extraction of indoor pollutants based on the room's humidity levels.
Key Product Features
- Simplified maintenance with a removable faceplate.
- Unique, grid-less design.
- Roll-in seal for enhanced airtightness.
Operating Principles
In a hygro-regulated VMC (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) system, airflow is automatically adjusted according to the humidity level in rooms, thereby matching the building's actual ventilation needs. The BDH grille is installed in sanitary areas.
Product Description
The BDH is a hygro-regulated grille intended for technical rooms in individual houses and collective housing, for both new builds and renovations. It is a compact hygro-regulated grille for flow rates below 50m³/h.
Application Areas
- Collective residential housing
- Individual residential housing
- New construction
- Renovation projects
Installation Guidelines
- The BDH must be installed in humid or technical rooms: bathrooms, WCs, utility rooms.
- The grille should be positioned at the top of a vertical wall or on the ceiling, at a height of at least 1.80 meters above the floor.
- The grille must be accessible and removable, with at least 20 cm clearance between the grille's center and adjacent walls or non-connected ducts.
- Optimal airtightness between the grille and the connecting duct is crucial. This is improved by using a sleeve. A metal sleeve is recommended for collective housing (stainless steel sleeve mandatory for VMC Gaz systems). A plastic sleeve can be used for individual homes.
- For models with a 125 mm spigot: the grille connects directly (via push-fit with O-ring) into a sleeve, RT Flex duct, rigid, or semi-rigid duct.
- For models with an 80 mm spigot: it connects via push-fit into sleeves, rigid, or semi-rigid ducts.
- When installing cord-connected grilles on the ceiling or above furniture, use a cord return guide (code 11015001).
- Note: For electrically controlled hygro-regulated grilles, two AA/LR06 batteries and a standard push button (code 11026011) are required.
- Hygro-regulated grilles operate within a pressure range of 80-160 Pa.
- Extraction grilles must be maintained and inspected at least once a year. Connecting a mechanical extractor hood to the VMC system is prohibited (Article 14 - Decree of March 24, 1982).
- Before replacing an old grille with a new one, record the pressure readings and the type of dwelling.
