READ THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION FIRST
Battery
The battery installed in the watch at the factory discharges during delivery and storage. If you notice the first signs of insufficient power (faint display), replace the battery at the nearest authorized CASIO service center or a CASIO distributor.
Water Resistance
For all categories of watches, it is prohibited to:
- Press buttons underwater;
- Operate the hands underwater;
- Unscrew the crown underwater;
If the watch is exposed to salt water, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water and dry it. Do not wear a watch with a leather strap while swimming. Avoid prolonged contact of the leather strap with water.
Watches are classified by rating (from I to V) according to their water resistance. Check your watch's rating using the table below to determine its proper use.
Rating | Case Marking | Splashes, Rain, etc. | Swimming, Car Washing, etc. | Skin Diving, Scuba Diving, etc. | Scuba Diving with Air Tank |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
I | - | No | No | No | No |
II | WATER RESISTANT | Yes | No | No | No |
III | 50 M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | No | No |
IV | 100 M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |
V | 200 M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
300 M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Notes:
- 1. The watch is not water-resistant. Avoid any moisture ingress.
II WR (Water Resistant) means the model is waterproof according to ISO 2281. Brief contact with water will not cause any problems.
III Water resistance of 5 Bar (50 meters) means the watch can withstand water pressure of the indicated value and can be used during showers and brief swimming.
IV Water resistance of 10 Bar (100 meters) means the watch can be used during normal swimming and skin diving.
V Water resistance of 20 Bar (200 meters) means the watch can be used for scuba diving (excluding depths requiring a helium-oxygen mixture).
Caring for Your Watch
- Never attempt to open the case and remove the back cover yourself.
- The replacement of the gasket that protects the watch from water and dust should be done every 2-3 years.
- If moisture gets inside the watch, have it checked immediately by your nearest dealer or a CASIO distributor.
General Care and Maintenance
- Do not expose the watch to extreme temperatures.
- Although the watch is designed for active everyday use, wear it carefully and avoid drops.
- Do not fasten the strap too tightly. You should be able to fit a finger between your wrist and the strap.
To clean the watch and strap, use a dry soft cloth or a soft cloth dampened with a water solution of mild neutral detergent. Never use easily evaporating agents (e.g., gasoline, solvents, spray cleaners, etc.).
- When you are not using your watch, store it in a dry place.
- Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning solvents, aerosol sprays, adhesives, paints, etc. Chemical reactions caused by these materials will lead to the deterioration of gaskets, case, and polishing of the watch.
- A feature of some watch models is the presence of silk-screened graphics on their straps. Be careful when cleaning such straps to avoid damaging these designs.
Care for Specific Materials
For watches with plastic straps:
- You may notice a whitish powdery substance on the strap. This substance is not harmful to your skin or clothing and can be easily removed by wiping with a piece of cloth.
Sweat or moisture on a plastic strap, as well as storage in high humidity conditions, can lead to damage, tearing, or cracking of the strap. To ensure a long service life for the plastic strap, wipe it clean of dirt and water with a soft cloth whenever possible.
For watches with fluorescent cases and straps:
- Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the fluorescent color to gradually fade.
- Prolonged contact with moisture can cause the fluorescent color to gradually fade. If any moisture gets on the watch surface, wipe it off as soon as possible.
- Prolonged contact with any other wet surface can cause the fluorescent color to discolor. Check if moisture has been removed from the fluorescent surface and avoid contact with other surfaces.
Strong friction of a surface with applied fluorescent paint against another surface may cause the fluorescent paint to transfer to that surface.
When using the product in conditions of rapid temperature changes, slight condensation may form on the inside of the glass. This phenomenon is due to the laws of physics and is not a defect.
CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage that may occur from the use of this watch, and does not accept any claims from third parties.

Watch Dial Overview
The watch face features main hour and minute hands. Three sub-dials are present: a small dial at the 12 o'clock position for stopwatch minutes, a small dial at the 6 o'clock position for stopwatch seconds, and a small dial at the 9 o'clock position for a 24-hour indicator. A day indicator window is also visible. The watch has a crown and two push-buttons labeled 'A' and 'B'. The crown can be pulled out to two positions (1 click, 2 clicks) for setting time and day. Button A is used for starting/stopping/resetting the stopwatch and adjusting hands, while Button B is used for split/resetting the stopwatch and adjusting hands.
SETTING THE TIME
- When the second hand is at the 12 o'clock position, pull out the crown to the second click.
- Turn the crown to set the current time.
- Return the crown to its original position with a time signal.
Note:
- When setting the time, take into account AM (before noon) and PM (after noon).
- Before finishing setting the time, first move the minute hand 4-5 minutes past the desired time, then set the exact time.
SETTING THE DAY
- Pull out the crown to the first click.
- Turn the crown to set the day.
- Return the crown to its original position.
Note:
- The day indicator changes up to 31. For months with fewer than 31 days, you must change the day manually.
- To ensure the day changes correctly at midnight, do not set the day between 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM.
WARNING ABOUT LOW BATTERY POWER
- When the battery power is low, the stopwatch second hand moves in 2-second intervals.
- In this case, the battery must be replaced as soon as possible.
- The stopwatch does not operate when the battery power is low.
- If the low battery warning appears during stopwatch operation, the stopwatch operation will stop, and the measurement result will be reset.
OPERATIONS WITH THE CROWN
Some watch models with 100m and 200m water resistance are equipped with a screw-down crown. Before performing operations using the crown, first unscrew it to unlock by turning it towards you, then pull out the crown. Do not use excessive force when pulling out the crown. When the crown is unscrewed, the watch becomes unprotected from water. After performing the necessary operations with the crown, return it to its original position, then screw it in to lock.
Diagram Description: Illustration shows a watch crown. Text indicates 'Unscrew to unlock'. The crown is depicted in its screwed-in position and then pulled out to an unlocked position, suggesting it needs to be unscrewed for operations and screwed back in to maintain water resistance.
IF YOUR WATCH HAS A BEZEL...
Turn the bezel to align the marker ▾ with the minute hand. After some time, you can tell how much time has passed since the marker was aligned with the minute hand.
Diagram Description: Diagram shows a watch with a rotating bezel. A marker on the bezel is aligned with the minute hand. An arrow indicates 'Elapsed time' moving from the aligned marker with the minute hand, showing how the bezel can be used to track time intervals.
USING THE STOPWATCH
The stopwatch measures elapsed time with an accuracy of 1 second. Elapsed time measurement is limited to 29 minutes and 59 seconds.
Elapsed Time Measurement
Diagram Description: Flowchart shows: Start (Button A) -> Stop (Button A) -> Repeat Start (Button A) -> Stop (Button A) -> Reset (Button B).
Split Time Measurement
Diagram Description: Flowchart shows: Start (Button A) -> Split (Button B) -> Cancel Split (Button A) -> Stop (Button A) -> Reset (Button B).
Attention! Do not use the stopwatch when the crown is pulled out.
Note: Elapsed time measurement will automatically stop after 30 minutes.
CORRECTING THE STOPWATCH HAND HOME POSITION
If the stopwatch hands do not return to the zero mark after resetting measurements, perform the following steps to correct their home position.
- Pull out the crown to the second click.
- Use button A to move the stopwatch second hand to the 12 o'clock position.
- Use button B to move the stopwatch minute hand to the 12 o'clock position.
- After correcting the home position of the stopwatch hands, return the crown to its original position.
Attention! When the crown is pulled out, current time measurement stops. Correct the current time after finishing the correction of the stopwatch hands' home position.
