Important Information Before Use
Water Resistance
For all watch categories, the following actions are prohibited:
- Pressing buttons underwater.
- Adjusting the crown underwater.
- Unscrewing the crown underwater.
If the watch is exposed to salt water, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water and dry it completely. Do not wear a watch with a leather strap while swimming, and avoid prolonged contact between the leather strap and water.
Watches are classified into water resistance levels (from I to V) according to their degree of water resistance. Refer to the table below to determine the correct usage for your watch.
Level | Case Marking | Resistance to Splashes, Rain, and Washing | Resistance to Swimming, Snorkeling, and Water Sports | Resistance to Scuba Diving and Saturation Diving |
---|---|---|---|---|
I | WATER RESISTANT | Yes | No | No |
II | WATER RESISTANT | Yes | No | No |
III | 50 M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | No |
IV | 100 M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | Yes |
V | 200 M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | Yes |

Notes:
- Watches not marked WATER RESISTANT are not protected against water. Avoid any contact with moisture.
- WR (Water Resistant) means that the model is waterproof according to ISO 2281. Brief contact with water will not cause any problems.
- Watches with 5 BAR (50 meters) water resistance can be used for showering and brief swimming.
- Water resistance of 10 BAR (100 meters) means the watch can be used for regular swimming and snorkeling.
- Water resistance of 20 BAR (200 meters) means the watch can be used for scuba diving (excluding depths requiring helium-oxygen mixtures).
Condensation may form on the inside of the glass due to significant temperature changes. This is a normal physical phenomenon and not a defect.
CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage that may occur from the use of these watches and does not accept any claims from third parties.
Your watch may differ slightly from the illustrations in this manual.
Note on Screw-Lock Crown:
Some water-resistant models are equipped with a screw-lock crown. To pull out such a crown, you must first unlock it by turning it in the direction indicated [arrow symbol]. Do not use excessive force when pulling out the crown, as this may damage it.
Note that the watch is no longer water-resistant when the crown is pulled out. After completing operations with the crown, be sure to return it to its original position and lock it.

Watches with Backlight
Press and hold button 'I' to illuminate the watch face. The backlight duration is typically 2 to 3 seconds, or 1 second depending on the model. ?

Watches with Rotating Bezel
Turn the bezel until the 'V' mark aligns with the minute hand. This allows you to measure elapsed time. ⏱️
