Models: RT510 / RT510RF / RT510TX / RT510BC / RXRT510
Introduction
The RT510 thermostat intelligently controls your heating system, switching it on or off, as needed, in accordance with the temperature set by you. The RT510 series comprises the following products:
- RT510: For wired applications.
- RT510RF (RT510TX + RXRT510): For wireless applications.
- RT510TX: Wireless transmitter for use with a 5x5 receiver.
- RXRT510: Wireless receiver for use with a 5x5 transmitter.
- RT510BC: Wireless application with a Boiler Controller.

- Always isolate the AC mains supply (230VAC 50Hz) before installing or working on any components.
Installation - RT510RF (Thermostat and Receiver)
Step 1: Wire up the receiver and switch the power on.
Step 2: Once the receiver is powered on, insert batteries into the thermostat.
If using the RT510RF pack, the devices are pre-paired. Proceed to the 'Test Pairing Process' to confirm the connection. If devices were purchased separately, follow the 'Pairing Process'.
After power-up, the receiver enters pairing mode, indicated by a flashing red LED.

Installation - RT510 Thermostat (Wired)
Insert batteries and wire up the device.

Note: Remove the link wire in the boiler when using this wired configuration.
Installation - RT510BC (Thermostat and Boiler Controller)
Step 1: Wire up the boiler controller and switch it ON.
Step 2: Insert batteries into the thermostat.
If using the RT510BC pack, the devices are pre-paired. If purchased separately, follow the pairing process.

Note: Leave the link wire in the boiler when using the Boiler Controller.
DIP Switch Settings
DIP switches are located on the rear of the thermostat and control temperature accuracy (span) and program modes.
- Switch 1: Controls span accuracy. Options: +/-0.5°C (default) or +/-0.25°C.
- Switch 2: Controls program mode. Options: 5-2 (weekdays/weekends) or 24h (daily).
Note: Changing DIP Switch 2 may increase boiler operation frequency.

Installer Mode
To enter Installer Mode, press the three buttons ([select], [set], [reset]) together for 3 seconds.
Installer Parameters:

Pairing the RT510TX with Receiver/Boiler Controller
If you purchased RT510RF or RT510BC packs, pairing is pre-done. For separate RT510TX and RXRT510/Boiler Controller purchases, follow these steps. Ensure the Receiver/Boiler Controller is set to 'Auto' mode.
- Begin Pairing: Press [select] + [test/pair] for 3 seconds on the RT510TX.
- End Pairing: Press [select] + [test/pair] for 3 seconds on the RT510TX again.
- Test Pairing: Press [test/pair] once on the RT510TX.
- Wait 9 minutes for the timeout process to complete.

Receiver/Boiler Controller Button Descriptions
RXRT510 Receiver Buttons:
- ON: Receiver is enabled and ready for use.
- OFF: Receiver is disabled.
- AUTO: Receiver operates automatically as controlled by the thermostat.
- MANUAL: Receiver stays ON continuously, overriding the thermostat (requires ON mode).
RT510BC Boiler Controller Buttons:
- SYNC: Synchronizes the boiler controller with the thermostat.
- AUTO: Receiver operates automatically as controlled by the thermostat.
- MANUAL: Select in case of thermostat failure to switch the boiler ON continuously, overriding the thermostat.
Setting Time and Date
- Press [select] + [set] + [reset] together for 3 seconds to enter Clock Settings.
- Press Up/Down ([set]/[reset]) to select the hour format (12h/24h). Press [select] to confirm.
- Press Up/Down ([set]/[reset]) to set the hour. Press [set] to confirm.
- Press [select] and then Up/Down ([set]/[reset]) to set the minutes. Press [set] to confirm.
- Continue with the same steps for setting the Day. Press [set] to return to the Main Screen.
Programming the RT510/RT510TX
You can create personalized programs. Choose between a 5-2 day program (weekdays/weekends) or a 24-hour program using the DIP Switches.
5-2 Days Programme:
- Weekdays: 6 sets of time/channel.
- Weekends: 6 sets of time/channel.
- Total: 12 settings per week.
24h Programme:
- Each day: 6 sets of time/channel.
- Total: 42 settings per week.
To set programs:
- Press [select] to confirm your option.
- Press Up/Down ([set]/[reset]) to select the day (Weekday/Weekend or specific day).
- Press [set] to change your programs.
- Press Up/Down ([set]/[reset]) to set the temperature for each time slot.
- Press [set] to confirm changes and return to the Main Screen.
Note: Ensure DIP Switch 2 is set to '24h' for individual daily programs to be active. Follow the same instructions as for the 5-2 day program.
Temperature Overrides and Functions
Review Setpoint Temperature
Press Up/Down ([set]/[reset]) to review the desired (setpoint) temperature.
Temporary Override
Press [select] to activate the Temporary Override mode. Press Up/Down ([set]/[reset]) to set the desired temperature.
Boost Function
Press [plus-hour] to activate the Boost function. Press Up/Down ([set]/[reset]) to set the duration or temperature for the boost.
Frost Protection
Press the [plus-hour] button to activate Frost Mode. The frost protection temperature can be viewed by pressing the UP button once, but can only be changed in Installer Mode.
Frost Mode ON/OFF indicator will appear on the Main screen.
Holiday Mode
Press the [plus-hour] button for 3 seconds to activate Holiday Mode. Press Up/Down ([set]/[reset]) to set the holiday period (number of days). Press [select] to confirm.
The Override sign will appear on the Main screen.
Press the [plus-hour] button for 3 seconds again to exit Holiday Mode. Note: You can also exit Holiday Mode by setting the days to zero.
Reset Function
RT510 Reset:
Press the [reset] button once (a paper clip may be needed). Your device will be reset to factory settings.
RT510TX Reset:
Remove the batteries without pressing any buttons. Wait 2 minutes, then reinsert the batteries. Your device will restart.
When changing batteries, the device uses internal memory to back up settings for up to 30 seconds.
