DIP Switch Settings

The DIP switches are on the rear of your thermostat and change the temperature accuracy (span) from +/-0.5°C to +/-0.25°C, and the programmes to 5-2 or 24h. Changing the Span DIP Switch (2) may cause your boiler to operate more frequently. The DIP switches are located on the back of the thermostat.

Other Functions

Backlight

The backlight turns on when keys are pressed and stays on for approximately 5 seconds after the last key press, except during settings changes (Clock, Programme, Temporary Override), where it remains illuminated. The backlight will not illuminate if the RT510RF battery is low.

Battery Status

The RT510RF monitors battery voltage. A low battery indicator (around 2.6V) will display when voltage is low. Replace batteries promptly to avoid operating problems. The device uses internal memory to back up settings for 30 seconds during battery changes.

Reset Function

Sleep Mode

Pressing UP and DOWN keys together enters SLEEP mode. All functions pause to save battery, except the clock. The LCD display is blank, and all output is turned off. Press any key to wake up and cancel SLEEP mode.
