This manual provides instructions for the safe and proper use of the Ergobaby Four Position 360 Carrier. Please read all instructions before use.

Carrying Positions
Front Carry - Front Inward with Infant Insert (Option 1)
For babies 0-4 months / 7-12 lbs / 3.2-5.5 kgs. Use of the Infant Insert (sold separately) is required for babies between 7 lbs (3.2 kgs) and 12 lbs (5.5 kgs), and for infants younger than 4 months or without strong head and neck control.
- Step 1: Fasten the waist belt around your waist.
- Step 2: Adjust the shoulder straps and ensure the infant insert is correctly placed inside the carrier.
- Step 3: Place the baby into the infant insert within the carrier.
- Step 4: Secure the baby with the carrier's straps, ensuring a snug fit.
- Step 5: Adjust the shoulder straps for comfort and support.
- Step 6: Ensure the baby's head is supported and positioned correctly.
- Step 7: Adjust the carrier for a comfortable fit for both baby and wearer.
- Step 8: Final check of all straps and buckles.
- Steps 17-19 show the baby correctly positioned in the carrier.
Removing Baby:
- Step 1: Loosen the shoulder straps.
- Step 2: Gently unbuckle the carrier.
- Step 3: Support the baby securely as you remove them from the carrier.
- Step 4: Carefully place the baby down.
- Steps 5-6 show the baby being safely removed.

- Step 7: Adjust the carrier for optimal support.
- Step 8: Final check of all fastenings.

Front Carry - Front Outward
For babies 5-12 months / 14-22 lbs / 6.4-10 kgs. This position is for babies who can hold their head and neck up independently and are comfortable facing outwards.
- Step 1: Fasten the waist belt around your waist.
- Step 2: Adjust the shoulder straps.
- Step 3: Place the baby in the carrier, ensuring their legs are positioned correctly for outward facing.
- Step 4: Secure the baby with the carrier's straps.
- Step 5: Adjust the shoulder straps for a comfortable fit.
- Step 6: Ensure the baby is seated comfortably and securely.
- Step 7: Adjust the carrier for optimal support.
- Step 8: Final check of all fastenings.
Removing Baby:

Hip Carry
For babies 6-24 months / 17.2-26.9 lbs / 7.8-12.2 kgs. This position is for babies who can hold their head and neck up independently.

- Step 3: Place the baby on your hip, securing them with the carrier.
- Step 4: Adjust straps for a comfortable and secure fit.

Removing Baby:

Back Carry
For babies 6-36 months / 17.2-33 lbs / 7.8-15 kgs. This position is for babies who can hold their head and neck up independently.

- Step 3: Place the baby on your back, securing them with the carrier.
- Step 4: Adjust straps for a comfortable and secure fit.
- Step 5: Ensure the baby is well-supported.

Important Safety Information
WARNING: FALL AND SUFFOCATION HAZARD
- Fall Hazard: Baby can fall through a wide leg opening or out of Carrier. Ensure all fasteners are secure before each use. Take special care when leaning or walking. Never bend at the waist; bend at the knees.
- Weight Limits: Only use for babies between 12 lbs (5.5 kgs) and 33 lbs (15 kgs). Use Infant Insert for babies between 7 lbs (3.2 kgs) and 12 lbs (5.5 kgs), or infants younger than 4 months or without strong head and neck control.
- Suffocation Hazard: Babies under 4 months can suffocate if their face is pressed tight against your body. Do not strap baby too tight. Allow room for head movement. Keep baby's face free from obstructions.
- Your balance may be adversely affected by your movement and that of your child.
- Take care when bending or leaning forward.
- This Carrier is not suitable for use during sporting activities.
Important Tips and Information
- Read all instructions before use.
- Child must face towards you until they can hold their head upright.
- Never leave baby unattended in or with the carrier.
- Never use if balance or mobility is impaired.
- Never use near heat sources or chemicals (e.g., cooking, cleaning).
- Never wear while driving or as a passenger in a motor vehicle.
- Never unbuckle the waist belt while the baby is in the carrier.
- Ensure baby's chin is not resting on their chest to keep airways clear. Maintain at least two fingers width clearance.
- Ensure baby's airway is clear and they are breathing normally at all times.
- Premature infants, infants with respiratory problems, and infants under 4 months are at greatest risk of suffocation.
- Ensure proper placement of baby, including leg positioning. Check baby's position regularly.
- Observe baby's arms, legs, and feet to ensure they are not constricted.
- Check all buckles, snaps, straps, and adjustments before each use and regularly during use.
- Check for ripped seams, torn straps or fabric, and damaged fasteners before each use.
- Only use back and hip carry positions when baby has strong head and neck control.
- Do not switch positions with baby in the carrier; remove baby first.
- Practice placing the baby in the carrier over a soft surface with assistance.
- Ensure wearer understands instructions and feels confident using the carrier.
- Carrier is intended for healthy adults.
- If wearer develops shoulder, back, or neck problems, discontinue use and consult a medical professional.
- Discontinue use if baby shows signs of discomfort.
- For longer torsos, wear the waist belt higher (belly button level). For shorter torsos, wear around hips.

Nursing in the Ergobaby 360 Carrier
All Ergobaby Carriers facilitate nursing. Loosen shoulder straps slightly to lower baby's head. The hood can be used for privacy.
Washing Instructions
- Before washing, buckle all buckles.
- Use mild detergent.
- Do not machine wash frequently.
- Do not use detergents with bleach, perfumes, dyes, chlorine, or optical brighteners.
- Wash at 30°C (86°F) maximum.
Disclaimer: Ergobaby uses high-quality, safe dyes. Colors may fade with washing. Ergobaby is not responsible for color fading due to laundering.
Warranty Information
