- Suffocation Hazard: Babies under 4 months can suffocate if their face is pressed tight against your body. Do not strap baby too tight, allow room for head movement, keep baby’s face free from obstructions, do not let baby sleep in the front outward-facing carry, and reposition after nursing.
General Warnings:
- Baby must face towards you until they can hold their head upright.
- Only use outward-facing carry when baby has strong head and neck control.
- Ensure baby is securely positioned to prevent falling.
- Constantly monitor your child, ensuring mouth and nose are unobstructed.
