Installation Instructions

The following instructions detail the installation of the STI Clock/Bell Damage Stopper.

Diagram illustrating the installation of a wire guard over a clock or bell. It shows four drill holes (3/16 inch or 5mm) for mounting, with anchors provided. Mounting clamps and screws are also shown as provided components. The guard has defined maximum object diameter, maximum outside width, and maximum object/internal depth. A 75-degree angle is indicated.

Center the wire guard over the existing clock or bell.
Locate clamps around the perimeter. Mark and drill four holes. Refer to the pictorial for hole size.

Lag Bolts: If lag shields and lag bolts are used, ensure the anchor is flush with the surface. Position the guard, insert the lag bolt, and tighten. Select bolt length to ensure full thread engagement in the anchor. For installations that require tamperproof fasteners, order KIT-82 stainless steel screws and KIT-19038 bit.
