STI Exit Stopper®
The STI Exit Stopper is a highly effective and inexpensive security device designed to help stop theft by alerting to unauthorized exits or entries through emergency exit doors.
How It Works
When a protected door is opened, the electronic Exit Stopper flashes and emits an ear-piercing alarm. The duration of the alarm is user-selectable. A key-operated override silences the alarm and allows authorized exits. Options include a 15-second delay before arming or tripping, or a 3-second shut-off after the door closes. The "Always Active" model allows a key holder to reset the alarm but not turn it off. The Exit Stopper includes a 9 VDC alkaline battery and is available in red. It is ideal for almost any type of door and installation, including remote alarm placement. It is not intended for outdoor use.

Installation

Electronics
- Offers 105 dB or 95 dB warning horn.
- In exit alarm mode, the alarm can be set to sound for 30 seconds, 3 minutes, or indefinitely (unless disarmed with the supplied key or until the battery is drained).
- In annunciator mode, it announces door opening with a set of beeps for 30 seconds.
- Programmable for a 15-second entry delay or immediate alarm.
- Features an arming delay to allow the unit to arm following authorized exits.
- Includes low battery beep and flash indicator, with an extended battery life mode.
- Provides On/Off signals (excludes WIR models).
