STI Horn Strobe Damage Stopper®
Protective wire guard designed to prevent damage to horn and strobe notification devices. The diagram illustrates the STI Horn Strobe Damage Stopper, showing its circular design and dimensions. It includes views of the unit from the top, side, and a perspective view highlighting mounting points. Dimensions provided include an overall diameter of approximately 8.5 inches (217mm) and a height of 5.7 inches (144mm). It also indicates screw holes for mounting and mentions included wall anchors and a wire guard bracket.
IMPORTANT
Do not attempt to install the guard until the notification device has been tested and in proper working order according to the manufacturer's installation directions furnished with the sensor unit.
Installation Instructions
- Center wire cage over horn/strobe (if using back box align conduit openings).
- Mark and drill (4) mounting holes (see pictorial for size). [Drill] [Screw] [Wall Anchors] are provided.
Service
- Wire guard requires periodic cleaning to prevent accumulation of dust and other matter.
- To service notification device according to manufacturer recommendations, loosen but do not remove the (4) screws, rotate (3) clamps off wire guard and carefully rotate wire guard.
