The Primo Smart Touch Water Dispenser offers a clean, modern design that complements any kitchen and lifestyle. It allows users to dispense water at three temperatures (cold, hot, cool) with a simple touch of a button.
- Convenience Switches: Located on the back of the dispenser for turning heating and cooling functions on/off. ⚙️
- Cold Water Icon: Touch to unlock, then touch the dispense control for cold water. Hold for three seconds for continuous dispensing. A green light indicates cooling, turning off when chilled. ❄️
- Cool Water Icon: Touch to unlock, then touch the dispense control for cool water. Hold for three seconds for continuous dispensing. ?
- Heating Icon: Touch and hold to unlock, then touch the dispense control for hot water. A red light indicates heating, turning off when fully heated. Requires holding both the dispense control and heating icon for safety. ?
- Dispense Control: Touch to dispense hot or cold water after unlocking the respective control. Hold the cold or cool water icon for three seconds for continuous dispensing.
- Empty Bottle Light: Blinks orange when the water bottle is empty and needs replacement. The dispenser will not heat or cool water when this light is active. ?
- Probe Assembly: Pumps water from the bottle into the hot and cold tanks.
- Probe Hanger: Located inside the cabinet door to store the probe assembly cleanly when replacing bottles.
- Drip Tray: Removable and dishwasher-safe.
- Water Bottle: Not included. Compatible with 3 and 5-gallon bottles.
Warnings & Safety Precautions
To reduce the risk of injury and property damage, read this entire guide before assembly, installation, and operation. Failure to follow instructions can cause personal injury or property damage. Hot water models dispense at very high temperatures.
- For indoor use only. Keep in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Install and use only on a hard, flat, and level surface.
- Do NOT place in enclosed spaces or cabinets.
- Do NOT operate in the presence of explosive fumes.
- Ensure at least 4 inches clearance from walls for airflow.
- Plug into a grounded outlet; do not use extension cords.
- Always unplug by pulling the plug, not the cord.
- Do NOT use if the cord is frayed or damaged.
- Do NOT immerse cord, plug, or any part of the dispenser in water or other liquids.
- Ensure the dispenser is unplugged before cleaning.
- Never allow children to dispense hot water without proper supervision. Unplug to prevent unsupervised use by children.
- Do not dispense hot water if the bottle is empty.

Quick Start Guide
Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Place the dispenser on a level floor surface indoors. Do NOT plug in the power cord until instructed.
- Position the dispenser with at least 4 inches clearance from walls and sides for airflow.
- Clean the probe assembly with a damp cloth and dish soap. Visit PrimoWater.com for detailed cleaning instructions. Place the probe assembly on its hanger inside the door.
- Remove the cap from a Primo® water bottle (sold separately). Insert the probe assembly into the bottle and secure it. For 3-gallon bottles, adjust the probe cap as needed.
- Slide the bottle into the cabinet and close the door securely. Water will not pump unless the door is fully closed.
- Plug the dispenser into a GFCI outlet. You will hear it pump water to fill internal reservoirs.
- Turn on heating and cooling switches on the back to the ON position. (Green light = chilling, Red light = heating).
- Once internal reservoirs are filled, dispense and discard at least 1 quart (approx. 2 pints or 946 ml) of water from each spout (cold, cool, hot).
- Water will be ready to dispense fully chilled in about 1 hour or piping hot in about 12 minutes.

Operating Instructions
Dispensing Cold Water
- Water will be fully chilled in approximately 1 hour. The cooling light will turn off.
- Touch the cold water icon ❄️ to unlock, then touch the dispense control to dispense.
- For continuous dispensing, touch and hold the cold water icon for three seconds. The dispense control will flash. Touch again to stop.
Dispensing Cool Water
- Touch the cool water icon ? to unlock, then touch the dispense control to dispense.
- For continuous dispensing, touch and hold the cool water icon for three seconds. The dispense control will flash. Touch again to stop.
Dispensing Hot Water
- Water will reach its hottest temperature in approximately 12 minutes. The heating light will turn off.
- Touch and continuously hold the hot water icon ? to unlock, then touch the dispense control to dispense. Release to stop.
CAUTION: Unit dispenses water at temperatures that can cause severe burns. Avoid direct contact with hot water. Keep children and pets away. Never allow children to dispense hot water without supervision. Disable heating by switching the rear convenience switch to OFF or unplugging the unit. This product is for water dispensing only.
Lock-Out Function
Touch and hold the hot and cold icons for three seconds to lock controls. All icons will flash three times. To unlock, repeat the process. The dispenser will resume normal operation.
Replacing the Bottle
When the empty bottle light ? flashes, replace the bottle promptly to restore heating/cooling functions.
- Open the cabinet door and slide out the empty bottle.
- Remove the probe assembly from the empty bottle and place it on the probe hanger.
- Set the empty bottle aside.
- Remove the plastic cap from the new bottle.
- Insert the probe assembly into the new bottle, securing the collar. Ensure the tube reaches the bottom.
- Slide the new bottle into the cabinet and close the door securely.
Cleaning & Maintenance
For best taste, performance, and hygiene, clean the cabinet, controls, bottle probe, and spout each time you replace the water bottle. Use a clean, soft cloth with a food-grade sanitizer or bleach. Empty and clean the drip tray as needed. Clean the cold reservoir at least once every 3 months. Visit PrimoWater.com for detailed cleaning instructions.
Limited Warranty
Primo Water Corporation warrants this dispenser to the original purchaser for one (1) year from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship, provided it is installed and operated according to the instructions. Proof of purchase is required. The warranty covers repair or replacement of defective parts under normal use. It does not cover failures due to accident, abuse, misuse, alteration, improper installation, or lack of routine maintenance. Cosmetic damage is also excluded. This warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties. Primo disclaims implied warranties after the one-year period.
