  • Infants can suffocate in gaps between a mattress too small or too thick and product sides, or on soft bedding. Never add extra mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding. Use only the manufacturer-provided mattress. Never use a water mattress.
  • Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.
  • The playard, including side rails, must be fully erected prior to use. Ensure latches are secure.
  • Strings can cause strangulation! NEVER place items with a string around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. NEVER suspend strings over playard or attach strings to toys.
  • Discontinue use when child can climb out or reaches 35 in. (890 mm) height or 30 lbs. (13.6 kgs) weight, whichever comes first.
  • When child can pull to standing position, remove bumper pads, large toys, and other objects that could serve as steps for climbing out.
  • NEVER place product near a window where cords from blinds or drapes can strangle a child.
  • Always provide necessary supervision for child's safety. NEVER leave child unattended during play.
  • To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants sleep on their back, unless advised otherwise by a physician.
  • Child can become entrapped and die when improvised netting or covers are placed on top of a play yard. Never add such items.
  • NEVER use this product if there are any loose or missing fasteners, loose joints, broken parts, or torn mesh/fabric. Contact Baby Trend Customer Service for replacement parts or repair. NEVER substitute parts.
  • NEVER leave child in product with sides lowered. Ensure sides are raised and locked.
  • NEVER use plastic shipping bags or other plastic film as mattress covers not sold for this purpose; they can cause suffocation.
  • This product is not intended for commercial use.
  • If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one provided by the manufacturer or one specifically designed for the bassinet/cradle mattress dimensions.
  • NEVER leave Napper in place when child is in the playard. Only one child can use the Nursery Center at any time.
  • ALWAYS ensure the playard, changing table, and napper are safe by checking regularly that every part is properly and securely in place.

  • Use only the pad provided by the manufacturer. NEVER add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding.

Strangulation Hazard Warnings

  • Strings can cause strangulation! NEVER place items with a string around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. NEVER suspend strings over playard or attach strings to toys.

Assembly Instructions

To Assemble Playard

Step 1: Unzip the bag and remove the Playard frame. Undo fasten straps and set the mattress aside. Do not push the center down yet.

Step 2: Top rails must be fully erected before lowering the center. Pull up one rail at a time, holding each side, and pull sharply. Ensure both tubes latch and each rail is rigid. The center must be raised while locking rails. If one rail locks but the other does not, squeeze the release in the center and try again.

Step 3: Once all four top rails are locked, push down on the center handle. The center mechanism automatically locks. Test each top rail by pushing down slightly to confirm rigidity and security.

Step 4: Place the Mattress on the floor of the Playard with the padded side facing up.

Step 5: Insert hook & loop fasteners on the underside of the Mattress through the floor slots at each end of the Playard. Fasten them to the underside of the floor to prevent mattress movement. The center handle MUST remain raised (approx. 45.7 cm or 18 inches) while locking side rails. If the center is not raised, rails will not lock. If difficulty occurs with one rail locking, squeeze the center release and try again.

Step 6: To operate the brakes on the wheels, press down on the brake levers. To release, lift the lever upward.

Step 7: Release the hook and loop fastener holding the Mattress from underneath the Playard floor or Bassinet. Do not unlock top rails yet; the center of the floor must be raised first. Rotate the center handle counter-clockwise 90 degrees and raise the center as high as the top rails. Gather legs and wheels towards the center.

Step 8: Locate the rail latch release in the center and bottom side of each rail. Squeeze the lever with two hands until the rail releases the two tubes, then push down. If top rails do not release completely, DO NOT FORCE. Lift the center of the floor higher. Both tubes must be released for the top rail to fold.

To Assemble Bassinet

Step 11: Connect opposing Mattress Support Tubes attached to the bottom of the Bassinet. Ensure Mattress Support tubes are connected as seen in the diagram.

Step 12: Position the Bassinet over and down into the fully assembled Playard. Secure by pushing down firmly on each plastic support clip until snapped into place.

Step 13: Place the Mattress into the Bassinet with the padded side facing upward. Fasten tabs underneath the Mattress to secure it.

To Assemble Changing Table

Step 14: Connect the two Long Curved Bars together. Insert the assembled curved bars into the Changing Table fabric, sliding them around inside the sleeve. Connect the two Short Bars to each end of the Long Curved Bar, ensuring knobs face down and in the same direction.

Step 15: Insert Connector Knob Prongs into the holes located on both corners of the Playard. Turn the Connector Knobs counter-clockwise to lock. Flip the Changing Table over onto the Playard. Snap the two buttons on the flap down onto the Playard.

To Secure Changing Table

Step 16: Locate hook and loop fasteners on the bottom of the changing table and inside the side rails of the playard.

Step 17: Flip the changing table into its upper position.

Step 18: Secure the changing table to the playard frame by fastening the hook and loop fasteners on the underside of the changing table to the side rails of the playard frame.

To Use Changing Table Restraint System

Step 19: Place child on changing table, ensuring hands and arms are clear of the restraint. Bring the restraint around the child's waist and clip the buckle ends together. Tighten strap until snug, but DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. To remove, unsnap the buckle.

To Remove Changing Table

Step 20: Flip Changing Table to the outside of the Playard. Unsnap the fabric flap. Twist Connector Knobs clockwise to unlock. Remove the Changing Table by disconnecting the Short Bars from the Curved Bar and removing the Curved Bar from the sleeve.

Parent Organizer Assembly

Step 21: For the Parent Organizer, position each hook so the hooked end faces the rear of the organizer and press firmly into the slot until it snaps into place. For the Diaper Stacker, skip to step 2. Connect the Parent Organizer/Diaper Stacker to the Playard by sliding the two connecting clips over an open portion of the top rail.

To Assemble Napper

Step 22: Pull the napper fabric flaps up at the top and bottom. Insert and slide the left napper frame bar into the left sleeve of the napper fabric, ensuring the bar curves upward. Repeat for the right side. The curve of the bar must be upward.

Step 23: Connect the bottom right and left napper frame bars, ensuring supports are seated and locked. Pull the bottom napper fabric flap down and secure it.

Step 24: At the top of the napper, insert one top clip with the longest side outward into each of the right and left napper frame bars and slide inward until they lock. Connect the top right and left napper frame bars, ensuring supports are seated and locked. Pull the top napper fabric flap down and secure it.

Toy Bar Installation

Step 25: Push down on the ends of the toy bar to secure it onto the top of the frame and pull the Canopy over the rear of the Napper. To adjust the angle, push the toy bar back.

Step 26: To attach the napper in the playard, lower it into the bassinet. Push down on the top and bottom clips to secure them onto the playard railing. NOTE: DO NOT use the napper on the playard without the bassinet and securing the clips.

Completed Napper

Step 27: Place the baby's head at the top of the napper near the large mesh windows for ventilation. Always keep the baby's head elevated.
