General Safety
This product has a polarized plug, meaning one blade is wider than the other. This is a safety feature designed to reduce the risk of electric shock. The plug will only fit into a polarized outlet in one direction. If the plug does not fit fully, try reversing it. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. Do not attempt to bypass this safety feature or alter the plug.

Assembly Steps
Step 1: Base Assembly
Take the circular base ring. Attach the three vertical support poles to the base ring. Each pole connects to the ring using a threaded mechanism. Ensure each pole is securely fastened.
Step 2: Central Pole Insertion
Insert the lower section of the central pole into the center of the base assembly. Thread it into the corresponding fitting until it is firmly seated.
Step 3: Electrical Cord Routing
Carefully feed the electrical cord down through the assembled pole structure. Connect the end of the cord to the lamp holder assembly, ensuring the wires are properly seated in their terminals.
Step 4: Lamp Holder Attachment
Position the lamp holder assembly at the top of the central pole. Secure the assembly by pressing the three clips on its base onto the pole until they audibly click into place.
Step 5: Upper Pole Connection
Join the upper section of the pole to the lower section. Insert the top pole piece into the bottom pole piece and twist to secure, or connect as indicated by the specific fittings.
Step 6: Install Light Bulb
Screw a suitable light bulb (not included) into the lamp holder socket. Ensure it is tightened properly but not overtightened.
Step 7: Attach Top Finial
Screw the decorative top finial or cap onto the very top of the pole assembly. This secures the structure and adds a finishing touch.
Step 8: Place Lampshade
Take the cylindrical lampshade. Align the top opening of the shade with the frame at the top of the lamp assembly.
Step 9: Secure Lampshade
The lampshade has clips on its inner rim. Align these clips with the corresponding points on the frame and press the shade down firmly until the clips engage and secure the shade in place. Ensure it is stable.
Step 10: Final Check
Ensure all connections are secure and the lampshade is properly attached. The lamp is now ready for use.
