App Guide
Before Pairing
NOTE: If you have changed the default Master Code (12345678) on the lock, please enter your new Master Code when pairing.
NOTE: If you have not changed the default Master Code, please follow the instructions in the App to change it after pairing is completed.
To get started, scan the QR code to download the "KK Home" App or search for "VE017" in your app store.
Step 1: Register Your Account
1. Download the App: Search and download the "KK Home" app from Google Play or the App Store. You can also scan the provided QR code.
2. Sign Up: Open the "KK Home" app and tap on "Sign Up". The app interface shows fields for Email Address and Password, with options to Log In or Sign Up.
3. Complete Registration: Enter your registration information and tap "Get Code". A verification code will be sent to the email address you provided. Enter this code to create your account.
The app requires the password to be 8-15 characters long and include uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and numbers.
Step 2: Pair Your Lock
1. Initiate Pairing: Close to your lock, turn on your phone's Bluetooth. In the "KK Home" app, navigate to the device list and click on "Add device" or the "+" icon.
2. Add Device: The app allows you to add devices by searching for nearby devices or scanning a QR code/entering the ESN manually. The screen displays a list of discovered nearby devices, such as "VE017" and "JR227-V", with "Connect" buttons.
3. Start Pairing: Click on your device (e.g., VE017) from the list to begin pairing. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is on and the phone is close to the device. You may be prompted to confirm the master code.
4. Name Your Lock: Once pairing is successful, you will see a "Connection succeed" message. You can then name your lock (e.g., "Front door", "Back door", "Side door", "Basement door") and tap "Complete" to finish.
NOTE: If the lock is not found in the list, please review the following tips:
- Perform a resetting on the lock and test if the default Master Code (12345678) works to unlock.
- Make sure the Bluetooth is turned on.
- During pairing, wake up the keypad screen by using your palm and keep the screen always on.

App Unlock / Lock
To unlock or lock the door using the app:
Tap the lock icon ? once on the "Front Door" screen.
NOTE: App unlock and lock only works when you are within the Bluetooth range of the lock.
How to Unlock
1. Unlock from outside.
- Use your Fingerprint: Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor. Diagram shows a finger on the fingerprint sensor. (Requires fingerprint to be added first).
- Enter Master / User Code: Enter the code on the keypad and press ✔️. Diagram shows hand entering code on keypad.
- Use the KK Home App: Tap the lock icon ? once in the KK Home App. Diagram shows finger tapping the lock icon in the app. (Requires the lock to be paired with KK Home first).
- Use the User Card or Mechanical Key: Swipe the User Card over the touch area or use the mechanical key in the keyhole. Diagram shows swiping a card and inserting a key.
2. Unlock from inside.
- Rotate the thumb turn on the interior assembly. Diagram shows rotating the thumb turn.
How to Lock
1. Lock from outside.
- Use your Fingerprint: Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor. Diagram shows a finger on the fingerprint sensor. (Requires fingerprint to be added first).
- Touch or Press Button: Touch the keypad once or press any button for 2 seconds. Diagram shows hand touching keypad buttons.
- Use the KK Home App: Tap the lock icon ? once in the KK Home App. Diagram shows finger tapping the lock icon in the app. (Requires the lock to be paired with KK Home first).
- Use the Mechanical Key: Insert the mechanical key into the keyhole. Diagram shows inserting a key.
2. Lock from inside.
- Rotate the thumb turn on the interior assembly. Diagram shows rotating the thumb turn.
Auto Lock
In Auto Lock mode, the latch bolt will extend out automatically to lock the door in 30 seconds. You can customize the Auto Lock time delay between 10 and 99 seconds.

NOTE: Auto Lock is disabled by default and needs to be enabled manually. The lock does not have a built-in door sensor; if Auto Lock is enabled, it will lock automatically whether your door is closed or open.
Programming Guide
Important: The default Master Code is 12345678. It is required to change to a new Master Code of your own before programming the lock.
If you are not using the KK Home App, you can program the lock manually on the lock itself by following this guide. Master/User Codes programmed on the lock can be synchronized to the KK Home App.
Change Master Code
- Press ◀️ twice, then enter the Default Master Code (12345678), and press ✔️ once. Diagram shows keypad input sequence: <◀️> <◀️> 12345678 <✔️>.
- When the green light flashes, press 1️⃣ on the Keypad. Diagram shows keypad input sequence: <1️⃣>.
- Then enter your New Master Code, and press ✔️. Diagram shows keypad input sequence: New Master Code <✔️>.
- Enter your New Master Code again, and press ✔️. Diagram shows keypad input sequence: New Master Code <✔️>.
- Congratulations on completing this programming when the green indicator light flashes!
Add User Code
Follow this sequence: ◀️ ➕ Master Code ✔️ → Press 2️⃣ → Enter New User Code → Press ✔️. Result: Succeed, Green light flashes.
Delete User Code
Follow this sequence: ◀️ ➕ Master Code ✔️ → Press 3️⃣ → Enter Unwanted User Code → Press ✔️. Result: Succeed, Green light flashes.
Add Fingerprint
Follow this sequence: ◀️ ➕ Master Code ✔️ → Press 4️⃣ → Scan Fingerprint 8 times (each successful scan accompanied by a short beep). Result: Succeed, Green light flashes.
Delete Fingerprint
Follow this sequence: ◀️ ➕ Master Code ✔️ → Press 5️⃣ → Scan unwanted Fingerprint Once. Result: Succeed, Green light flashes.
Add User Card
Follow this sequence: ◀️ ➕ Master Code ✔️ → Press 6️⃣ → Scan User Card. Result: Succeed, Green light flashes.
Delete User Card

Definitions
Master Code
The default Master Code is 12345678. Before programming, it requires changing the default Master Code to a new one. The Master Code can be used to unlock the door under Vacation Mode. Property owners and managers should keep this information confidential.
Auto Lock
In Auto Lock mode, the latch bolt will extend out automatically to lock the door in 30 seconds. Auto Lock is disabled by default. You can customize the Auto Lock time delay between 10 and 99 seconds.
One-touch Lock
Touch ✔️ once on the Keypad to lock from outside. Press and hold any button on the Keypad for 2 seconds to lock from outside.
Wrong Entry Limit
After 10 unsuccessful attempts at entering an invalid access (including Passcode, Card, or Fingerprint), the device will shut down for 3 minutes.
Silent Mode
The beep sounds when pressing the Keypad can be muted. However, you will still hear low battery and system alerts.
Vacation Mode
This is a security feature for when you are leaving your home for vacation or a long trip. You can enable it in the KK Home App. Enabling Vacation Mode will restrict all User Codes, User Cards, and Fingerprints until the Master Code is entered on the Keypad. If the lock is unlocked by the Thumb Turn from the inside, it will sound an alarm.
Anti-peeping Passcode
Entering random numbers before or after the correct passcode will also unlock the door, which can prevent the passcode from being exposed. The length of the anti-peeping passcode should be within 16 digits.

FAQ
Why am I unable to check the latest records in the App?
When you are beyond the Bluetooth range of the lock or the Veise gateway G1 is not connected, the records of code and User Card unlocking may not appear in the list timely. When you are within the Bluetooth range of the lock or the Veise gateway G1 is connected, refresh your records.
How to edit, delete, or create custom codes remotely?
Editing, deleting, or creating custom codes requires the Veise gateway G1 (sold separately) or being within the Bluetooth range of the lock.
Can I add multiple locks to one account?
Yes, it is possible to add multiple locks in the KK Home App.
Can I add a lock to two accounts?
No, you cannot add locks to two accounts, but you can share your access to another account. Please follow these steps:
- Open KK Home App and navigate to User.
- Select Add user.
- Choose the device you want to share.
- Opt for sharing as Family (full permissions) or Guest (limited permissions).
- Share with a specific user via Email or an invitation code (the user must be registered in KK Home App).
Why I failed to lock / unlock in KK Home App?
Please check if the door lock installation is correct and confirm whether the key and password set on the door lock can unlock the door properly. If everything is confirmed to be correct and all mentioned methods can unlock the door, but the App still cannot unlock it, please confirm your Bluetooth lock:
Turn on your Bluetooth and grant the App Bluetooth permission. Make sure you are within the Bluetooth connection range (within 9.84ft) to operate the App for unlocking and locking the door.
How to change the email address in KK Home App?
We regret to inform you that the KK Home App currently does not support email address changes.
How to connect with Alexa?
To enable Alexa features, please ensure that the Veise Gateway G1 is connected. Then, follow these steps:
- Make sure your devices are connected properly.
- Navigate to "My" → "The Third Party Voice Services" → "Alexa" icon in KK Home App.
- Select "Agree and link" to initiate the linking process. Follow the prompts to link your account and Skill in Alexa App.
- Locate your device on the Alexa "Home" page or under "Devices." Click on the settings icon in the top right corner. In the settings, enable "Unlock by App" and "Unlock by voice." Create your voice code as prompted. Once configured, your device is ready for Alexa control.
How to add Google Assistant to KK Home App?
To enable Google Assistant features, please ensure that the Veise Gateway G1 is connected. Then, follow these steps:
- Open KK Home App > My > Works with.
- Click 'Google Assistant' > Click 'Agree and link'. (Note: You need to download the 'Google Home' App in advance and redirect to the 'Google Home' App for authorization).
- Sign in your Google account. If not signed in, create a Google account.
- Discover KK Home devices in Google Home App and add them to the corresponding Home.
- Back to KK Home App, view the link status: linked with Google Assistant.
- Control KK Home devices via Google Assistant.
