Camera Components

Getting Started
App Download and Account Registration
Download the MUBVIEW app from the App Store (?) or Google Play (▶️). Scan the QR code provided or search for "MUBVIEW" in your app store. Register for an account using your email address and select your region.
Preparation for Connection
Ensure the MUBVIEW app has permission to access mobile data and Wi-Fi on your smartphone. Also, enable push notifications for the app to receive alerts.
Connecting the Camera to the App
1. Power on the camera and ensure the status indicator is flashing red.
2. Place your phone close to the camera and your Wi-Fi router.
3. Open the MUBVIEW app, navigate to 'Add Device', and select 'IP Camera'.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions: tap 'Next', then 'Add Device'.
5. Reset the device by pressing the reset button for 4-5 seconds until the indicator flashes red.
6. Tap 'Next' to proceed to Wi-Fi setup.
Wi-Fi Setup
Select your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (?) and enter the password. The camera is not compatible with 5 GHz networks.
Pairing the Camera
Tap 'Next' to display a QR code on your smartphone screen. Hold your phone approximately 15-25 cm (5-8 inches) in front of the camera lens. Ensure the screen is steady. The camera will confirm a successful pairing with an audible sound.
Once paired, the status indicator will turn blue. Tap 'Next' to complete the setup.
Advanced Features
Multi-user Sharing
Share your camera feed with family or friends. You can grant view-only access or allow them to control the camera. To share, User A can scan User B's QR code or enter their account ID, and User B accepts the sharing invitation.
Storage Options
The MUBVIEW PK 320 offers two storage options: a free 7-day basic cloud storage plan or local storage using a micro SD card (up to 128GB).
Troubleshooting & FAQs
Device Offline
- Check if the device is powered on and the status light is on.
- Verify your Wi-Fi network is working and restart your router.
- Ensure the camera is within good Wi-Fi signal range. Consider moving the router closer or using a Wi-Fi extender.
- Try removing the camera from your MUBVIEW account and re-adding it after resetting the device.
- Ensure both the device firmware and the MUBVIEW app are updated to the latest versions.
Wi-Fi Password Change
If your Wi-Fi password changes, remove the camera from your MUBVIEW account, reset the device, and then re-add it using the new Wi-Fi credentials.
Historical Video Playback Issues
- Check the SD card status in the app's settings to ensure it's recognized.
- Reinsert the SD card.
- Format the SD card using the MUBVIEW app.
- Try using a different SD card.
Frequent False Alarms
- Reduce the motion detection sensitivity in the app.
- Check for objects in the camera's field of view that might trigger the PIR sensor (e.g., air conditioning units, passing cars, pets). Adjust the camera's angle to avoid these.
- Enable the "Person detection only" feature to filter out non-human motion events.
Phone Not Receiving Notifications
- Ensure notification permissions are enabled for the MUBVIEW app in your phone's settings.
- Verify that motion detection is activated on the camera.
- Restart your phone and clear the app's cache.
- Check your network connection.
Network Connection Issues (Indicator Lights)
- Solid Red Light: Reset the device and reconfigure. If the issue persists, contact support for potential firmware updates.
- Slow Red Flashing, then Fast Red, No Sound: This may indicate an abnormal QR code, a blurred lens, or a defective device. Ensure correct phone-to-camera distance (15-25 cm), scan from multiple angles, clean the lens, and try AP mode configuration. If problems persist, contact support with device SN, QR code screenshot, and configuration time.
- Fast Red Light Turns Blue, but Device Not Added: Provide device SN, account information, and configuration time to MUBVIEW support for further assistance.
