- Ensure both the device firmware and the MUBVIEW app are updated to the latest versions.
Updating Router or Wi-Fi Password

Indicator is Slow Red Blink, Not Fast, After QR Scan, No "Bee" Sound
This situation may be caused by:
- An abnormal QR code, a defocused lens, or a defective device.
- Solutions:
- Ensure your phone is 5-8 inches (15-25 cm) from the lens and try scanning from different angles.
- If using a new phone model, it might cause QR code issues. Provide a screenshot of the QR code and your phone's model/OS version to support.
- Ensure the lens is clean. Try setting up in AP mode and check if the lens is still defocused.
- If setup continues to fail or the device does not respond, provide your device's SN, a screenshot of the QR code, and the exact setup time (and a video if possible) to support@mubview.com for further troubleshooting.
Indicator is Slow Red Blink, Then Fast Red After QR Scan, But Not Blue
This indicates the device successfully scanned the QR code, but setup failed. Possible reasons include:
- Using 5 GHz Wi-Fi instead of 2.4 GHz.
- Incorrect password.
- Unstable network. Place the device close to the router during setup. Restart the router and reset the device if issues persist. You can also try using your mobile data as a hotspot.
- If hotspot connection fails, the device's Wi-Fi antenna might be defective. Contact MUBVIEW for assistance.
