Assembly Steps
Step 1: Attach Base Feet
Diagram shows the underside of the bottom panel. Four circular base components (part 152676) are shown being attached to the corners using screws.
Attach the four circular base components (part number 152676) to the designated points on the underside of the bottom panel using screws.
Step 2: Prepare Side Panels
Diagram shows a side panel with connector screws (part 10047135) being inserted into holes along one edge.
Insert connector screws (part number 10047135) into the pre-drilled holes on the edges of the two side panels.
Step 3: Insert Dowels into Base
Diagram shows the base panel with wooden dowels (part 101345) being inserted into holes.
Insert wooden dowels (part number 101345) into the corresponding holes on the base panel.
Step 4: Attach Side Panels to Base
Diagram shows the two side panels being lowered onto the base panel, aligning with the dowels and connector screws.
Align the side panels with the base panel and press them down onto the dowels and connector screws.
Step 5: Secure Side Panels with Cam Locks
Diagram shows a close-up of a cam lock connector (part 10078589 or 10069936) being inserted into a hole on the side panel and then turned with a screwdriver to engage with the connector screw from the base. An arrow indicates the turning motion.
From the inside of the cabinet, insert and tighten cam lock connectors (part numbers 10078589 and 10069936) into the side panels to secure them to the base. The arrow indicates turning the cam lock to tighten.
Step 6: Slide in Back Panel
Diagram shows the partially assembled cabinet frame and the thin back panel being slid down into grooves on the side and base panels.
Carefully slide the thin back panel into the grooves provided on the inner edges of the side and base panels.
Step 7: Attach Top Panel Connectors
Diagram shows connector screws (part 10047135) being inserted into the top edges of the side panels.
Insert connector screws (part number 10047135) into the pre-drilled holes on the top edges of the side panels.
Step 8: Attach Top Panel
Diagram shows the top panel being placed onto the assembled frame.
Place the top panel onto the assembled frame, aligning it with the connector screws.
Step 9: Secure Top Panel with Cam Locks
Diagram shows cam lock connectors being tightened from the inside of the cabinet to secure the top panel.
Secure the top panel by inserting and tightening cam lock connectors (part numbers 10078589 and 10069936) from the inside of the cabinet.
Step 10: Install Door Hinge Mounting Plates
Diagram shows hinge mounting plates (part numbers 10093081 and 10093082) being attached to the inside of the cabinet frame.
Attach the hinge mounting plates (part numbers 10093081 and 10093082) to the inside of the cabinet frame where the doors will be attached.
Step 11: Attach Hinges to Doors
Diagram shows hinges (part number 10071303) being attached to the doors using screws.
Attach the main hinge components (part number 10071303) to the doors using screws. Ensure they are correctly oriented as shown.
Step 12: Mount Doors
Diagram shows the doors being attached to the cabinet by connecting the hinges to the mounting plates. Arrows indicate the connection and potential adjustment.
Align the hinges on the doors with the mounting plates on the cabinet frame and click them into place. Adjustment may be required later.
Step 13: Attach Door Handles
Diagram shows door handles (part number 130417) being attached to the front of the doors with screws (part number 100400).
Attach the door handles (part number 130417) to the front of the doors using screws (part number 100400).
Step 14: Install Magnetic Door Catches
Diagram shows magnetic door catches (part number 104663) being attached to the cabinet interior and corresponding plates to the doors.
Attach the magnetic door catches (part number 104663) to the inside of the cabinet top or bottom, and the corresponding metal plates to the doors, to help them stay closed.
Step 15: Adjust Doors
Diagrams show close-ups of hinge adjustment screws and arrows indicating directions for adjusting door height, depth, and alignment.
Use the adjustment screws on the hinges to align the doors properly. This may involve adjusting height, depth, and side-to-side position for an even gap.
Step 16: Attach Leveling Feet
Diagram shows the bottom of the cabinet with leveling feet being screwed in. Arrows indicate rotation for adjustment.
Screw the four leveling feet into the base of the cabinet. These can be adjusted to ensure the cabinet is stable on uneven floors.
Step 17: Prepare for Wall Mounting
Diagram shows wall mounting brackets, screws (e.g., 147968, 158469), and wall plugs (e.g., 121714) being prepared for installation.
Identify the wall mounting brackets and the corresponding screws and plugs. The manual illustrates different types of screws and plugs for different wall materials (solid, hollow).
Step 18: Wall Mounting (Crucial Safety Step)
IMPORTANT: To prevent tip-over accidents, this furniture MUST be secured to the wall using the provided anti-tip hardware.
Tools needed for wall mounting (not included): Drill, drill bits (e.g., Ø 8 mm, Ø 3 mm), screwdriver, level, pencil, measuring tape.
Procedure:
- Determine the desired location for the cabinet.
- Use a level to ensure the cabinet is positioned correctly.
- Attach the wall mounting brackets to the back of the cabinet using the provided screws.
- Hold the cabinet in its final position against the wall and mark the wall through the holes in the brackets.
- Move the cabinet away from the wall.
- Drill holes at the marked locations on the wall. The diagram suggests different drill bit sizes (e.g., Ø 8 mm for plugs, Ø 3 mm for screws).
- Insert appropriate wall plugs into the drilled holes (use plugs suitable for your wall type: solid or hollow).
- Move the cabinet back into position.
- Secure the cabinet to the wall by screwing through the brackets into the wall plugs.
Note: If you are uncertain about the correct type of wall fixing or installation, consult a qualified professional.
Step 19: Insert Shelves
Diagram shows shelf pins being inserted into the side panels and shelves being placed on top of them.
Insert shelf pins into the desired holes on the inside of the cabinet. Place the shelves onto the pins.
Step 20: Final Check
Diagram shows the assembled cabinet with doors closed and a checkmark symbol.
Ensure all screws are tightened, the cabinet is stable, and it is securely anchored to the wall. Check that doors open and close smoothly.
