Assembly Instructions

WARNING: Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture tip-over.
ALWAYS secure this furniture to the wall using tip-over restraints.

Assembly Steps
Follow these steps carefully to assemble your HAUGA open wardrobe. Ensure all parts are accounted for before beginning.
Step 1: Assemble Base and Side Panels
Attach the base panel to the two side panels. Insert dowels into the pre-drilled holes on the base panel. Align the side panels with the base panel and secure them using screws. Ensure the panels are correctly oriented.
Step 2: Attach Top Piece
Connect the top piece to the side panels. Insert dowels into the side panels and align the top piece. Secure with screws. Ensure panels click into place.
Step 3: Attach Back Support
Connect the back support piece to the assembled base and side panels using screws.
Step 4: Insert Back Panels
Slide the back panels into the grooves on the side and top/base panels.
Step 5: Secure Back Panels
Fasten the back panels using screws.
Step 6: Attach Drawer Runners (Part 1)
Attach the first set of drawer runners to the inside of the wardrobe frame using screws.
Step 7: Attach Drawer Runners (Part 2)
Attach the second set of drawer runners to the inside of the wardrobe frame using screws.
Step 8: Install Drawer Support Rod
Insert the support rod into the designated holes on the drawer assembly.
Step 9: Attach Drawer Handles
Attach the drawer handles to the front of the drawer components using screws.
Step 10: Assemble Drawer Boxes
Assemble the drawer boxes by connecting the drawer sides, front, and back panels using screws and dowels.
Step 11: Attach Drawer Slides to Drawer Boxes
Attach the drawer slides to the assembled drawer boxes using screws.
Step 12: Insert Drawer Rods
Insert the drawer rods into the wardrobe frame.
Step 13: Attach Drawer Runners to Frame
Attach the remaining drawer runners to the wardrobe frame using screws and mounting plates.
Step 14: Assemble Drawer Base Components
Assemble the drawer base components, connecting them with dowels and screws.
Step 15: Attach Drawer Fronts
Attach the drawer fronts to the assembled drawer boxes. Ensure they click into place.
Step 16: Attach Drawer Sides
Attach the drawer sides to the drawer base, ensuring they click into place.
Step 17: Connect Drawer Units
Connect the two drawer units together.
Step 18: Secure Drawer Units to Frame
Secure the drawer units to the wardrobe frame using screws.
Step 19: Insert Drawer Pins
Insert pins into the designated holes on the drawer units.
Step 20: Install Drawer Bottom
Slide the drawer bottom into the grooves of the assembled drawer unit.
Step 21: Position Wardrobe
Carefully tilt the wardrobe to position it correctly for wall mounting.
Step 22: Attach Top Hanging Rail
Attach the top hanging rail to the wardrobe frame using screws.
Step 23: Attach Drawer Supports
Attach drawer supports to the wardrobe frame using screws and clips.
Step 24: Attach Drawer Runners
Attach the drawer runners to the wardrobe frame using clips.
Step 25: Secure Wardrobe Base
Secure the base of the wardrobe using screws and ensure it is stable.
Step 26: Attach Drawer Slides
Attach drawer slides to the wardrobe frame using clips.
Step 27: Insert Hanging Rail
Insert the hanging rail into the provided slots.
Step 28: Final Wall Attachment
Crucial Safety Step: Secure the wardrobe to the wall using the provided wall attachment hardware. Select the appropriate screws and plugs based on your wall type (Solid Wall - A, Hollow Wall - B, Wood Wall - C). Attach the bracket to the wardrobe and then to the wall. Ensure a secure connection to prevent tip-over.
Step 29: Final Placement
Position the wardrobe in its final location against the wall.
Step 30: Wall Mounting Guidance
The supplied screws and plugs are suitable for most solid (A) and hollow (B) walls. For solid wood (C), use screws without plugs. If uncertain, seek professional advice.
Refer to the diagrams for wall mounting types A, B, and C.
- Type A: Solid wall, use screw without plug.
- Type B: Hollow wall, use screw with plug.
- Type C: Wood wall, use screw without plug.
Step 31: Secure to Wall
Attach the wall bracket to the wardrobe and then to the wall using the provided hardware. Ensure a secure connection.
Step 32: Final Check
Ensure all parts are securely fastened and the wardrobe is stable and properly anchored to the wall.
