4. Installation Guide
The video intercom villa door station supports both flush mounting and surface mounting.
Before You Begin
- Ensure all related equipment is powered off during installation.
- Prepare necessary tools: Drill (ø2.846 mm) and gradienter.
- Purchase the protective shield before installation.
Surface Mounting without Protective Shield
- Stick the mounting template on the wall. Drill screw holes according to the template. Remove the template.
- Secure the mounting plate on the wall with 4 supplied screws according to the screw holes.
- Install the villa door station to the mounting plate. Fix the device on the mounting plate with the set screw.
Surface Mounting with Protective Shield
- Stick the mounting template on the wall. Drill screw holes according to the template. Remove the template.
- Align the protective shield with the mounting template.
- Secure the mounting plate and protective shield on the wall with 4 supplied screws according to the screw holes.
- Install the villa door station to the mounting plate. Fix the device on the mounting plate with the set screw.
5. Web Configuration Guide
Activate Device via Web
The device must be activated by setting a strong password before use.
Default parameters of the door station:
- Default IP Address: 192.0.0.65
- Default Port No.: 8000
- Default User Name: admin
- Power on the device and connect it to the network.
- Enter the IP address into the address bar of a web browser and press Enter to access the activation page.
The computer and the device should belong to the same subnet.
- Create and enter a password into the password field.
- Confirm the password.
- Click OK to activate the device.
If the device is not activated, basic operation and remote configuration cannot be performed.
Access to the Device by Web Browsers
- In the browser address bar, enter the device's IP address and press Enter to access the login page.
- Enter the user name and password and click Login.
Communicate with Indoor Station
Configure the room number of the indoor station linked to the villa door station. Refer to the Video Intercom Indoor Station User Manual for details.
- Click Settings → Intercom → Press Button to Call to enter the settings page.
- Set the parameters:
- Edit call number for every button.
- Check Call Management Center to set the button calling center.
If Call Management Center is checked and a call number is also set, the call management center has higher privilege than the call number.
- Press the button to call the indoor station.
Issue Card
- Click Settings → Access Control and Elevator Control to enter the corresponding settings page.
- Click Issue Card. Present the card on the card reading area.
- When issuance is finished, a window will pop up on the settings page.
Only Mifare cards are supported, and Mifare cards with non-standard shapes are recommended. Up to 10,000 cards can be issued and managed by V series door stations. A voice prompt ('No more cards can be issued.') will be heard when the issued card amount exceeds the upper limit.
Unlock Door
After issuing cards, the door can be unlocked by presenting the issued card.
