The terminal on the rear panel has 20 pins: 2 RS-485 pins, 5 reserved pins, 4 relay output pins, 8 alarm input pins, and 1 GND pin. For DS-KH6320-TE1, there are 11 reserved pins, 8 alarm input pins, and 1 GND pin. Refer to the specific model for details.

Installation

Installation Accessory Description

The wall mounting plate and junction box are required. Junction box dimensions: 75 mm (width) x 75 mm (length) x 50 mm (depth). Wall mounting plate dimensions are shown in diagrams.

Before You Start

Wall Mounting with Junction Box

  1. Chisel a hole in the wall (76 mm width x 76 mm length x 50 mm depth).
  2. Insert the junction box into the chiseled hole.
  3. Fix the wall mounting plate to the junction box with 2 screws.
  4. Hook the indoor station to the wall mounting plate by inserting the plate hooks into the slots on the rear panel. The lock catch will engage automatically.

Wall Mounting without Junction Box

  1. Insert 2 expansion tubes into the wall.
  2. Fix the wall mounting plate to the wall with 2 screws.
  3. Hook the indoor station to the wall mounting plate by inserting the plate hooks into the slots on the rear panel. The lock catch will engage automatically.

Getting Started

Activate Indoor Station

You must activate the device by setting a strong password before use.

  1. Power on the device. It will enter the activation page automatically.
  2. Create and confirm a password.
  3. Tap OK to activate the indoor station.
  4. (Optional) Bind an email address for password reset.

Quick Configuration

  1. Choose Language and tap Next.
  2. Set network parameters and tap Next.
    • Edit Local IP, Subnet Mask, and Gateway parameters.
    • Enable DHCP for automatic network parameter acquisition.
  3. Configure indoor station parameters.
    • Select Indoor Station and tap Next to link the main door station.
      • Edit Floor and Room No.
      • Create and confirm SIP register password. (Note: If adding to a door station, the indoor station's SIP password should match the door station's registration password.)
      • Tap Advanced Settings to edit Community No., Building No., and Unit No.
      • (Optional) Enable Indoor Station Settings and select the indoor station to link.
    • Select Indoor Extension and tap Next to link an indoor extension.
      • Edit No., Room Name.
      • Create and confirm SIP register password.
  4. Link related devices and tap Next. If devices and the indoor station are in the same LAN, they will appear in the list. Tap the device or enter its serial No. to link.
    • Tap the settings icon to open the Network Settings page.
    • Edit the door station's network parameters manually or enable DHCP.
    • Tap OK to save settings.
  5. Tap Finish to save settings.

Installation

The villa door station supports surface mounting.

Before You Start

Surface Mounting without Protective Shield

  1. Stick the mounting template on the wall. Drill screw holes according to the template. Remove the template.
  2. Secure the mounting plate on the wall with 4 supplied screws.
  3. Install the villa door station to the mounting plate. Fix the device with the set screw.

Surface Mounting with Protective Shield

  1. Stick the mounting template on the wall. Drill screw holes according to the template. Remove the template.
  2. Align the protective shield with the mounting template.
  3. Secure the mounting plate and protective shield on the wall with 4 supplied screws.
  4. Install the villa door station to the mounting plate. Fix the device with the set screw.

Configuration via Web

Activate Device via Web

You must activate the device by setting a strong password before use. Default parameters: IP Address: 192.0.0.65, Port No.: 8000, User Name: admin.

  1. Power on the device and connect it to the network.
  2. Enter the IP address into a web browser's address bar and press Enter. (Note: The computer and device should be on the same subnet.)
  3. Create and enter a password.
  4. Confirm the password.
  5. Click OK to activate the device. (Note: Basic operation and remote configuration are not possible until activated.)

Access to the Device by Web Browsers

  1. In the browser address bar, enter the device's IP address and press Enter to access the login page.
  2. Enter the user name and password and click Login.

Communicate with Indoor Station

  1. Go to Settings → Intercom → Press Button to Call.
  2. Set parameters:
    • Edit call No. for each button.
    • Check Call Management Center to set the button calling center. (Note: If Call Management Center is checked and set, it has higher privilege than call No.)
  3. Press the button to call the indoor station.

Issue Card

  1. Go to Settings → Access Control and Elevator Control.
  2. Click Issue Card. Present the card on the card reading area.
  3. When issuing is finished, a window will pop up on the settings page.

Note: Only Mifare cards are supported. Mifare cards with non-standard shapes are recommended. Up to 10,000 cards can be issued and managed by V series door stations. A voice prompt will indicate when the card limit is exceeded.

Unlock Door

After issuing cards, you can unlock the door by presenting the issued cards.
