ELVARLI Drawer Assembly Instructions

This document provides assembly instructions for the IKEA ELVARLI drawer system.

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Prepare the uprights. Insert the adjustable feet (121902) into the bottom of the upright poles. Ensure they are securely fastened.
Step 2: Attach the base shelf. Place the base shelf onto the uprights and secure it using the provided dowels (101345) and cam locks (119030). Insert the cam lock screws (144574) into the shelf and then tighten the cam locks with a screwdriver.
Step 3: Assemble the drawer box. Connect the sides of the drawer box using the provided screws (110519) and dowels (101372). Secure the drawer front using cam locks (119030) and cam lock screws (144574).
Step 4: Install drawer slides. Attach the drawer slides to the sides of the drawer box using screws (100349). Attach the corresponding drawer slide components to the uprights using screws (117784) and brackets (146677).
Step 5: Insert the drawer. Carefully slide the assembled drawer into the installed drawer slides.
Step 6: Attach the drawer front. Secure the drawer front to the drawer box using the provided fasteners (139251 and 147170).
Step 7: Install additional shelves. Attach any additional shelves to the uprights at the desired height using the provided hardware.
Step 8: Secure the back panel. If applicable, attach the back panel of the drawer unit.
Step 9: Final checks. Ensure all connections are secure and the drawer operates smoothly.

Important Notes:

Ensure assembly is performed on a soft surface to prevent scratching.
Do not overtighten screws.
