Description of the Appliance

The deep fryer consists of the following parts:

  • Lid
  • Control Box
  • Basket (with handle)
  • Pot (inner container for oil)
  • Body (outer casing)

Before First Use

  • Check all parts are in good condition. Contact supplier/manufacturer if not.
  • Remove packaging and protective films.
  • Wash accessories and inner pot in warm water. Dry thoroughly. Ensure electrical parts remain dry.
  • Wipe inside of the pot with a damp cloth and ensure it is completely dry before filling with oil or fat.
  • The fryer has a safety micro-switch at the control box. Ensure the control box is correctly fixed to the outer case, pressing the micro-switch via its trigger, before use. If not working, re-fix the control box.

Safety Cut-Out

The fryer has a safety cut-out to protect against overheating (e.g., due to insufficient oil or fat). In case of overheating, the thermal cut-out device automatically switches off the fryer. It can be reactivated by pressing the "RESET" button (e.g., with a ball pen) through a hole at the back of the cord storage compartment after the system has cooled down.

Basket Handle

  1. Attach the handle by squeezing the wires together and inserting the ends through the basket eyelets.
  2. Rotate the handle backward until it locks securely. Ensure it is firmly connected before use.

Using the Appliance

This fryer is for oil or liquid fat only, not solid fat.

  1. Place on a dry, stable surface, away from other objects.
  2. Remove lid and accessories.
  3. Fill with desired amount of oil/fat, between "MAX" and "MIN" markings. Do not mix oil types for best results.
  4. Set temperature knob to the required temperature. The indicator light will turn on during heating.
  5. Use the handle to place the basket in the fryer.
  6. Place food (preferably dry) into the basket.
  7. Lower the basket slowly to prevent excessive bubbling. Can be used with or without the lid.
  8. The indicator light turns off when the set temperature is reached. It cycles on/off during frying, which is normal due to the temperature regulator.
  9. Raise the basket when frying time is complete.
  10. Turn thermostat fully anticlockwise to switch off and unplug.
  11. Once cooled, replace basket and store the fryer with the lid closed in a dark, dry place. Oil and basket can remain inside for storage.

Frying Tips

  • Use up to 600g of fresh fries. Be careful with frozen fries when lowering the basket. Follow package instructions for frozen fries.
  • For fresh potato fries, dry them after washing to prevent water from entering the oil.
  • Fry fries in two stages:
    • Stage 1 (pre-fry): 5-10 minutes at 170°C.
    • Stage 2 (final fry): 2-4 minutes at 190°C. Drain well.
