User Guide and Safety Instructions

Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed. Read all instructions carefully before use.

  • Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is left unattended, before assembling, disassembling, or cleaning.
  • Never allow children to use the hand blender unsupervised. This appliance is not intended for use by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
  • The appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised or have received instructions on safe use and understand the potential hazards.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
  • Exercise caution when handling sharp blades, emptying bowls, and during cleaning.
  • Switch off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply before changing accessories or approaching moving parts.
  • Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the blender, as it can be ejected due to sudden steaming. Do not use liquids hotter than 40°C.
  • Ensure your electrical supply matches the rating on the appliance before plugging in.
  • Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after it malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any way. Return it to an authorized service facility.
  • Never immerse the power handle unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquids. This could cause an electric shock.
  • Do not operate the appliance with wet hands. Dry your hands with a cloth before plugging in.
  • Before each use, ensure the blender shaft, whisk, or chopper, and the power cord are not damaged.
  • Never point the blades towards anyone while operating the appliance.
  • Take special care when preparing food for babies, the elderly, and infirm.
  • Do not use the appliance outdoors.
  • Blades are sharp; handle carefully. Never touch blades or whisk while the machine is plugged in.
  • Never add ingredients to the beaker or chopper bowl while the hand blender is operating.
  • Do not place ingredients beyond the maximum graduation marks on the containers.
  • Do not operate the hand blender continuously for extended periods, as the motor may overheat. Allow the appliance to rest for at least 2 minutes between cycles. After 5 continuous cycles, let it cool to room temperature before restarting.
  • Do not exceed the indicated quantities and maximum operating times.
  • Using accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may pose a risk of injury.
  • Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep fingers, hair, clothing, and utensils away from moving parts.
  • Never blend or mix hot oil or fat.
  • Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter.
  • Never let anyone trip over the power cord. Ensure the cord does not touch hot surfaces or hang where a child could reach it.
  • Unplug the appliance when not in use, before attaching/detaching parts, before moving, adding food, or cleaning.
  • Never add ingredients to the beaker or chopper bowl while the hand blender is operating.
  • The continuous operating time without load must be less than 15 seconds when using the blender. Do not use the blender to mix very hard ingredients.
  • Do not exceed the quantities and maximum times indicated in the operation guidelines.
  • Take attachments off before cleaning.
  • This appliance must not be used against prescription.

Operation Guidelines

Before using for the first time

  • Remove all packaging and take away the blade cover.
  • Clean all components that come into contact with food as previously indicated.

To use the hand blender

  • Clean the blender shaft and beaker.
  • Align the mark on the power handle with the mark on the blender shaft (Figure 1). Fit the power handle inside the blender shaft. Turn the shaft clockwise until the mark aligns with the mark with a slight sound of click (Figures 2-3). If this is the case, the blender shaft is correctly locked.
  • Assemble the appliance body with the blender shaft, turn, and lock until you hear a slight click. The symbols on the appliance body and the blender shaft should now be aligned.
  • Check if the power cord is not damaged.
  • Fill the beaker (not more than the maximum indicated level).
  • Plug in the appliance. Switch the appliance on by pressing the switch button (marking "I" for lower speed, "II" for higher speed).
  • Immerse the blade guard completely in the ingredients.
  • Blend the ingredients by moving the appliance slowly up and down and in circles.
  • After blending, release the switch button, then unplug from the outlet.
  • Warning: The continuous operating time must be less than 10 seconds.
  • If your blender gets blocked, stop and unplug before clearing.
  • After use, unplug and dismantle. Dismantling is the reverse of assembly.
  • Always switch off and unplug before cleaning. Refer to the "Care and Cleaning" section.

To use the chopper

  • Remove the protective cover from the chopper blade.
  • Clean the lid, blade unit, and bowl of the chopper.
  • Fix the blade unit in the chopper bowl.
  • Fill the bowl (not more than the maximum indicated level).
  • Fit the power handle inside the chopper, turn and lock until you hear a slight click. The marks on the power handle and the chopper should now be aligned. If this is the case, the chopper is correctly locked.
  • Check if the power cord is not damaged.
  • Ensure your electricity supply is the same as shown on the power handle.
  • Plug in the appliance. Switch the appliance on by pressing the switch button ("I" for lower speed, "II" for higher speed).
  • After blending, release the switch button, then unplug from the outlet.
  • Warning: The continuous operating time must be less than 30 seconds.
  • If your chopper gets blocked, stop and unplug before clearing.
  • After use, unplug and dismantle the power handle and lid unit. Take the blade out of the bowl by holding the plastic shaft, then pour out the food.
  • The edges of the blade are very sharp; do not touch them.
  • Always switch off and unplug before cleaning. Refer to the "Care and Cleaning" section.

To use the whisk

  • Clean the whisk and beaker.
  • Insert the whisk into the whisk head until you hear a slight click.
  • Fit the power handle inside the whisk, turn and lock until you hear a slight click. The marks on the power handle and whisk head should now be aligned. If this is the case, the whisk is correctly locked.
  • Check if the power cord is not damaged.
  • Ensure your electricity supply is the same as shown on the power handle.
  • Fill the beaker (not more than the maximum indicated level).
  • Plug in the appliance. Switch the appliance on by pressing the switch button ("I" for lower speed, "II" for higher speed).
  • To prevent splashing, use the low speed when starting.
  • Immerse the whisk completely in the ingredients.
  • Blend the ingredients by moving the appliance slowly up and down and in circles.
  • After mixing, release the switch button, then unplug from the outlet.
  • Warning: The continuous operating time must be less than 3 minutes.
  • Never blend hot oil, fat, or meat.
  • If your whisk gets blocked, stop and unplug before clearing.
  • After use, unplug and dismantle.
  • Always switch off and unplug before cleaning. Refer to the "Care and Cleaning" section.

Care and Cleaning

  • Always switch off and unplug before cleaning.
  • Take the attachments off.
  • Do not touch the sharp blades. Caution: Take care when cleaning the blades as they are extremely sharp. Note: Do not clean any part of the blender in the dishwasher.
  • The power handle and power cord: Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry. Never immerse in water or other liquid or use abrasives.
  • The beaker: Can be washed in water with cleaning agent. Wash and rinse thoroughly with water, then dry.
  • The blender shaft: Can be washed in water with cleaning agent. Unplug, let it cool down. Wash and rinse thoroughly with water, then dry.
  • The chopper: The lid unit can only be wiped with a damp cloth, then dry. Never immerse in water or other liquid or use abrasives. The bowl and blade can be washed in water with cleaning agent. Unplug, let it cool down. Wash and rinse thoroughly with water, then dry. Reattach the protective cover to the blade.
  • The whisk: The head of the whisk can only be wiped with a damp cloth, then dry. Never wash and rinse in water or use abrasives. The other part of the whisk can be washed in water with cleaning agent. Unplug, let it cool down. Wash and rinse thoroughly with water, then dry.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry, and ventilated place.
