Before First Use
Before first use, it is recommended to operate the kettle for 2 or 3 times following the instructions below. This will remove any dust or residues remaining from the manufacturing process.
Operating Instruction
The kettle features a lid, a lid button for opening, a handle for carrying, and a base for power connection.
Control buttons and indicators are located on the base:
- ON/OFF button: Activates/deactivates the boiling or keep-warm process. The indicator light flashes during temperature adjustment and remains on during heating.
- Keep warm button: Activates/cancels the keep-warm function. The indicator light flashes during temperature adjustment and while in the keep-warm process.
- Temperature button: Adjusts the desired temperature in 5°C increments. The indicator light remains on during temperature adjustment.
Note: The boiling setting range is between 40°C and 100°C. The keep-warm setting range is between 40°C and 95°C.
Filling Water
- Take the kettle from the power base before filling.
- To fill the kettle, open the lid by pressing the lid button downwards. Fill the kettle with as much fresh, cold water as desired. The water capacity must be between the Max and Min levels shown inside the kettle.
Boiling Water
- Place the filled kettle with water onto the power base.
- Plug the power base into the mains supply. The kettle enters the stand-by state, and the body shell shows the real temperature of the water.
- To start the boiling process, press the button. The appliance enters the heating process. At this time, the desired water temperature can be adjusted by repeatedly pressing the button. Long pressing the button increases the temperature continuously. The screen will show the chosen degree, and the heating indicator light will flash during adjustment.
- After completing the setting (approximately 5 seconds), a buzzer will sound "di". The heating indicator light will stop flashing and remain on. The body shell will show the real water temperature, and the boiling begins.
- When the adjusted temperature is reached, the kettle will automatically switch off. The buzzer will sound twice, and the heating indicator light will go out. The appliance returns to the stand-by state.
- To cancel the heating process, press the button. The kettle will return to the stand-by state, and the heating light will go out.
Note: The kettle will only start to heat if the real water temperature is lower than the adjusted degree. If the real temperature is higher, the kettle will automatically enter the stand-by state.
Keep Warm Feature
There are two approaches to starting the keep-warm function, which keeps the boiled water warm at your desired temperature.
A: To start keep-warm function during the heating process
- While heating, press the button. The appliance enters the heating and keep-warm process. The desired water temperature to maintain can be adjusted by repeatedly pressing the button. Long pressing increases the temperature. The body shell will show the chosen degree, and the keep-warm indicator light will flash during adjustment.
- After completing the setting (approximately 5 seconds), the body shell shows the real water temperature, and the heating begins.
- The appliance will automatically switch to the keep-warm function with the keep-warm indicator light flashing. If the keep-warm process has not been interrupted, after 40 minutes, the kettle will go into the stand-by state, and the keep-warm indicator light will go out.
- To cancel the keep-warm function, press the button again. The kettle will turn back to the boiling process if the real water temperature is lower than the adjusted boiling degree, and the keep-warm indicator will go out. If the temperature is above the adjusted degree, the kettle will automatically enter the stand-by state.
- To cancel the keep-warm process after the water has boiled, press the or button. The kettle will go into the stand-by state, and the keep-warm indicator light will go out.
B: To start keep-warm function in the stand-by state
- In the stand-by state, press the button. The appliance enters the keep-warm process. Refer to the steps above to set the degree of keeping warm.
- If the real water temperature is lower than the adjusted degree of keeping warm, the kettle will boil water until it reaches the adjusted degree. After that, the kettle will enter the keep-warm process.
- To cancel the keep-warm function, press the button again. The kettle will return to the stand-by state, and the keep-warm indicator will go out.
Note: When the water temperature decreases below the adjusted degree during the keep-warm process, the kettle will restart to boil until the water reaches the adjusted degree. During this time, the body shell will show the real water temperature, and the keep-warm indicator light will flash. After 40 minutes, the kettle will automatically go into the stand-by state, and the keep-warm indicator light will go out.
Serving Water
- To serve the water, remove the kettle from the power base and pour the water out from the kettle spout.
