CASIO Watch Module 2753/3333 User Manual

Model Numbers: 2753, 3333

Important Information

Battery

In your new watch, the battery is installed at the factory and should be replaced immediately when it shows signs of low power (e.g., backlight does not turn on, display is dim) by your nearest CASIO dealer or distributor.

Water Resistance

Watches are classified into ranks (I to V) according to their water resistance. Check your watch's rank using the table below for proper operation.

Rank Marking on Case Splashes, Rain, etc. Swimming, Car Washing, etc. Underwater Swimming Diving
I (None) No No No No
II WATER RESISTANT Yes No No No
III 50M WATER RESISTANT Yes Yes No No
IV 100M WATER RESISTANT Yes Yes Yes No
V 200M WATER RESISTANT
300M WATER RESISTANT
Yes Yes Yes Yes

Notes for respective sections:

  • Rank I: Not water resistant. Avoid all moisture.
  • Rank II: Do not pull out the crown while the watch is wet.
  • Rank III: Do not press the watch buttons underwater.
  • Rank IV: If exposed to salt water, rinse thoroughly and dry.
  • Rank V: Suitable for diving (excluding depths requiring helium-oxygen mixture).

Care and Maintenance

  • Never attempt to open the case or remove the back cover.
  • The rubber gasket that protects the watch from water and dust should be replaced every 2-3 years.
  • If water enters the watch, have it checked immediately by your nearest CASIO dealer or distributor.
  • Do not expose the watch to extreme temperatures.
  • While the watch is designed for normal use, avoid rough handling and do not drop it.
  • Do not fasten the band too tightly. A finger should fit between your wrist and the band.
  • To clean the watch and band, use a dry, soft cloth or a soft cloth dampened with a water solution of mild neutral detergent. Never use volatile substances such as gasoline, solvents, aerosol sprays, etc.
  • When not using your watch, store it in a dry place.
  • Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning solvents, aerosol sprays, adhesives, paints, etc. Chemical reactions caused by these materials can damage gaskets, the case, and the watch's finish.
  • Some watch bands feature silk-screened designs. Be careful when cleaning such bands to avoid damaging the graphics.
  • For watches with plastic bands: A whitish powdery substance may appear on the band. This substance is harmless to your skin or clothing and can be easily removed by wiping with a cloth. Exposure of the plastic band to sweat or moisture, or storage in high humidity conditions, can lead to damage, tearing, or cracking. To ensure a long service life for the plastic band, wipe it clean of dirt and water with a soft cloth whenever possible.
  • For watches with fluorescent cases and bands: Strong friction of a surface with fluorescent paint against another surface can transfer the fluorescent paint to that surface. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause gradual fading of fluorescent coloring. Prolonged contact with moisture can cause gradual fading of fluorescent coloring. If any moisture gets on the watch surface, wipe it off as soon as possible. Prolonged contact with any other wet surface can cause fading of fluorescent coloring. Ensure the fluorescent surface is free of moisture and avoid contact with other surfaces.

CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage incurred through the use of this watch, and accepts no claims from third parties.
