Important Information

Battery
The battery in your watch was installed at the factory. If it shows signs of insufficient power (e.g., dim display, no backlight), it should be replaced by an authorized CASIO dealer or distributor.
Water Resistance
Watches are classified by water resistance rating from I to V. Consult the table below to understand your watch's rating for proper use.
Rating | Marking on Case | Splashes, Rain, etc. | Washing Hands, Sweat, etc. | Swimming, Washing Machine, etc. | Submersion, Diving |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
I | (No Marking) | Yes | Yes | No | No |
II | WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | No | No |
III | 50M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |
IV | 100M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |
V | 200M WATER RESISTANT 300M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Notes for respective ratings:
I: Water resistant. Avoid any moisture. Never attempt to open the case or remove the back cover.
II: If water enters the watch, have it checked immediately by an authorized CASIO dealer or distributor.
III: Do not press watch buttons underwater. If the watch is exposed to salt water, rinse it thoroughly and dry it.
IV: Watches can be used for diving (except for depths requiring a helium-oxygen mixture).
V: Some water-resistant watches have leather straps. Do not wear these watches while swimming or engaging in other activities where the strap may get wet.
Care of Your Watch
- Never attempt to open the case or remove the back cover. Replacing the gasket that protects the watch from water and dust should be done every 2-3 years.
- If water enters the watch, have it checked immediately by an authorized CASIO dealer or distributor.
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures.
- While the watch is designed for normal use, avoid rough handling and dropping it.
- Do not fasten the strap too tightly. A finger should fit between your wrist and the strap.
- Clean the watch and strap with a dry, soft cloth, or a soft cloth dampened with a mild neutral detergent solution. Never use volatile agents such as gasoline, solvents, or spray cleaners.
- When not in use, store the watch in a dry place.
- Avoid exposing the watch to gasoline, cleaning solvents, aerosol sprays, adhesives, paint, etc. Chemical reactions caused by these materials can damage gaskets, the case, and the watch's finish.
- Some models feature silk-screened graphics on their straps. Be careful when cleaning such straps to avoid damaging these designs.
- For watches with resin straps: A white powdery substance may appear on the strap. This substance is harmless to your skin or clothing and can be easily removed by wiping with a cloth. Sweat or moisture on a resin strap, or storing it in high humidity, can lead to damage, tearing, or cracking. To ensure a long life for your resin strap, wipe it with a soft cloth whenever possible to remove dirt and moisture.
- For watches with fluorescent cases and straps: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the fluorescent color to fade gradually. Prolonged contact with moisture can also cause the fluorescent color to fade. Wipe off any moisture from the watch surface as soon as possible. Prolonged contact with any other wet surface can cause the fluorescent color to fade. Ensure the fluorescent surface is dry and avoid contact with other surfaces.
- Strong friction of a surface with fluorescent paint against another surface may transfer the fluorescent paint to that surface.
CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage that may occur from the use of this watch and does not accept claims from third parties.
