Where to Place Your Outdoor Wall Lights
Proper placement ensures optimal performance and illumination.

- Illumination Height: Place lights 66 inches from the floor or ground to illuminate the lock and handle area effectively.
- Side Placement: Position lights 6 inches from the edge of the door.
- Single Light Orientation: If using only one light, place it on the side of the door closest to the door handle.
Helpful Tip: The integrated dusk-to-dawn sensor may cause the light to remain on if obstructed by eaves or other overhangs. Ensure clear access to the sensor.

2. What could be the reason if the lamp does not turn on during installation?
If the lamp does not turn on, it is likely due to the dusk-to-dawn sensor deactivating during daylight hours. To test functionality, cover the sensor with your hand or a cloth after turning on the power switch. If the lamp illuminates, it confirms the sensor is working correctly and the issue is related to the automatic day/night cycle.
3. What if I do not need the dusk-to-dawn functionality?
The fixture includes a rubber cap that can be used to cover the sensor, disabling the dusk-to-dawn feature and allowing for manual control.
4. What should I do if the glass lampshade I received is cracked or broken?

Installation Steps
Follow these steps for the 7029-1BK model:
- Unscrew screw E from the lamp body (F) and remove the hanging plate (C).
- Install the hanging plate (C) onto the junction box (A) using screw D.
- Connect the black, white, and ground wires from the lamp body to the respective input lines using the terminal (B) and wire caps.
- Secure the lamp body (F) onto the hanging plate (C) with screw E.
Installation is now completed.
Sealing the Gap
After securing the fixture to the wall, it is recommended to seal the gap between the wall and the fixture backplate on the top and both sides. Use a good quality waterproof caulk or silicone sealant (NOT INCLUDED) for this purpose. The diagram shows a bead of caulk being applied with a caulking gun.
