Product Overview

The Altec Lansing HydraMotion 2.0 is an EVERYTHINGPROOF® Wireless Speaker designed for immersive sound and durability.

Charging

To charge the speaker:

  1. Insert the USB-C end of the supplied USB-A – C cable into the charging port on the right side.
  2. Insert the USB-A end of the supplied cable into a suitable USB-A charging port.
  3. The indicator LED will be red while charging and will turn off when fully charged.

Bluetooth Pairing

To pair your device:

  1. Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds to turn on the speaker.
  2. The LED will flash blue, indicating pairing mode.
  3. Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings and ensure Bluetooth is ON.
  4. Select 'AL HydraMotion 2.0' from the list of available devices.
  5. Once paired, the LED will be solid blue.

The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when turned on.

Party Sync:

1. Turn on the primary speaker and connect it to your Bluetooth device. Start playing music.

2. Short press the Link button ('?') on the primary speaker. Its LED will flash green, indicating it is broadcasting as the Party Primary.

3. Turn on the secondary speaker. Short press the Link button ('?') on the secondary speaker. It will automatically connect to the Primary speaker and its LED will turn solid green. They will now play in sync.

4. You can connect additional secondary speakers by turning them on and short pressing their Link buttons.

Note: If playback is paused on the Primary speaker, the Secondary speaker LEDs will return to flashing green.

To exit Party Sync, short press the Link button ('?') on each speaker you wish to disconnect.

Multi Color Light Modes:

Briefly press the '?' button to cycle through 11 different light modes:

  1. Fade between colors
  2. Pulse to music, step changing color
  3. Single color (use App to change)
  4. Circle and back and forth
  5. Bargraph with color step from center
  6. Fading colors left to right
  7. Circle Rainbow color
  8. Fire mode horizontal
  9. Off

Voice Assistant:

Short press the '?' button to activate the Voice Assistant on your connected phone/tablet.

Reset:

A reset will erase all settings. To perform a reset, press and hold the '⏻' button for 10 seconds. The speaker will reset and power off.

This warranty covers products that fail to function properly UNDER NORMAL USAGE, due to defects in material or workmanship. Your product will be repaired or replaced at no charge for parts or labor for a period of one year.

To receive warranty service along with the name and address of an authorized product service center, the original consumer purchaser must contact Altec Lansing for problem determination and service procedures. Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice, evidencing that the Product is within the applicable Warranty period(s), MUST be presented in order to obtain the requested service. It is your responsibility to properly package and send any defective products along with a dated copy of proof of purchase, a written explanation of the problem, and a valid return address to the authorized service center at your expense. Do not include any other items or accessories with the defective product. Any products received by the authorized service center that are not covered by warranty will be returned unrepaired.

NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN THOSE EXPRESSLY DESCRIBED ABOVE SHALL APPLY.
