Your Altec Lansing IMW1300 package includes:
- IMW1300 HydraBlast Wireless Speaker
- USB-C Charging Cable
- Carabiner
A Closer Look
Familiarize yourself with the speaker's features:
- Power Button: Turns the speaker on/off.
- USB-C Charging Port: For charging the speaker.
- Link Button: Used for True Wireless Pairing.
- Color Change Button: Controls the light modes.
- Volume Down/Previous Track Button: Decreases volume or skips to the previous track.
- Volume Up/Next Track Button: Increases volume or skips to the next track.
Charging
Speaker Charging: Connect the USB-C cable to the speaker and a power source. The LED indicator will be red while charging and turn off when fully charged (approx. 3-4 hours for a full charge).
Wireless Charging: Place a Qi-compatible device on the wireless charging pad. Ensure correct positioning and remove any phone covers. Note: If the speaker volume is above 50% during Qi charging, it will be automatically reduced to 50% to conserve battery.
Powering On/Bluetooth Pairing
Powering On: Press the Power Button.
Bluetooth Pairing:
- Turn on the speaker.
- On your Bluetooth-compatible device, search for "Altec Lansing" and select it to pair. The LED indicator will be solid blue when connected.
Disconnect Bluetooth: Press and hold the Power Button for five seconds. The speaker will beep.
Reset All Connections: Press and hold the Power Button for ten seconds. The speaker will power off.
Speaker Controls
- Volume Up/Down: Press the '+' or '-' buttons.
- Next/Previous Track: Press and hold the '+' or '-' buttons respectively.
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button.
- Answer & End Call: Press the Play/Pause button.
- Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds.
- Just Ask / Reset: Press and hold the Power Button for 1-2 seconds to activate voice assistant (Siri or Google Assistant).
True Wireless Pairing
To pair two IMW1300 speakers for a stereo experience:
- Turn on both speakers.
- On the first speaker, press and hold the Link Button for 2-3 seconds.
- Turn on the second speaker and press the Link Button.
- The Link Buttons will illuminate green, indicating the speakers have paired together. The first speaker will show a solid blue light, and the second speaker will flash green while in pairing mode.
Disconnect TWS function: Power off one of the units.
Light Change Mode
Press and hold the Color Change Button for 1-2 seconds to cycle through the different light modes:
- Multicolor slow transition
- Single color pulse to music
- Multi color pulse to music
- Single color slow fade
- Single color
- Multicolor cycle changed
- Multicolor fast changed with background color
- Multicolor slow fade
- Four color slow fade
- Four color rotation with pulse to music
- Four color rotation
- Off
