Important Safety Instructions

READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS.

This manual contains warnings, instructions, and safety guidelines to address common risks associated with water recreation. Always use caution, common sense, and good judgment. Retain this information for future use.

Electrical Safety

  • The spa must be supplied through an isolating transformer or a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA.
  • Use an earthed power source.
  • The power source on the wall should be more than 4m away from the pool.
  • Connect to a grounded mains supply socket with a supply cord fitted with a plug and PRCD with a tripping current of 10mA.
  • Plug directly into an earthed socket-outlet of fixed wiring.
  • Ensure the plug is accessible after installation.
  • Consult a qualified electrician for any questions regarding electrical installations, which should follow national wiring rules.
  • Do not bury the cord and locate it to minimize abuse from equipment.
  • CAUTION: To avoid hazards from inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, do not supply the appliance through an external switching device like a timer or a circuit switched on/off by the utility.
  • RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK: Do not use the spa when it is raining, thundering, or lightning.
  • Do not use extension cords; provide a properly located outlet.
  • Do not plug or unplug with wet hands.
  • Never operate any electrical appliance while in the spa or when your body is wet. Keep electric appliances (light, telephone, radio, television) at least 2m away from the spa.
  • Install at least 2m from all metal surfaces.
  • No part of the appliance should be located above the bath during use.
  • Parts with live parts (except safety extra-low voltage parts not exceeding 12V) must be inaccessible. Electrical components must be located or fixed so they cannot fall into the spa.
  • The power cord has an incorporated PRCD. If current leakage exceeds 10mA, it will cut off power. Unplug and stop use immediately. Do not attempt self-repair.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent, or similarly qualified persons.

Risk of Injury

  • Water temperature should not exceed 40°C (104°F). Between 38°C (100°F) and 40°C (104°F) is safe for adults. Lower temperatures are recommended for children and extended use.
  • Pregnant women should limit water temperature to 38°C (100°F) and use for no more than 10 minutes at a time due to potential fetal damage.
  • If water feels too hot, measure temperature with an accurate thermometer before entering. If above 45°C, stop use until it cools below 40°C.
  • External thermometer readings may differ from the control panel by approximately 3 degrees due to location.
  • Alcohol, drugs, or medication before or during spa use can lead to unconsciousness and drowning risk.
  • Obese individuals and those with heart disease, high/low blood pressure, circulatory problems, or diabetes should consult a physician before use.
  • Consult a physician if using medication that may cause drowsiness or affect heart rate, blood pressure, or circulation.
