Carefully read, understand, and follow all information in this user manual before installing and using the spa. These warnings, instructions, and safety guidelines address common risks of water recreation but cannot cover all risks and dangers. Always use caution, common sense, and good judgment. Warnings – Safety Installation
- The spa must be supplied through an isolating transformer or a residual current device (RCD) not exceeding 30mA.
- Use an earthed power source.
- The power source on the wall should be more than 4m away from the pool.
- Connect to a grounded mains supply socket with a plug and PRCD with a 10mA tripping current.
- Plug directly into an earthed socket-outlet of fixed wiring.
- Ensure the plug is accessible after installation.
- Follow national wiring rules; consult a qualified electrician for questions.
- Do not bury the cord. Locate it to minimize abuse from lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, etc.
- CAUTION: To avoid hazard from inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, do not supply through an external switching device (e.g., timer) or a circuit switched by the utility.
- Read instructions before use, installation, or reassembly.
Warnings - Risk of Electric Shock
TO AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT USE THE SPA WHEN IT IS RAINING, THUNDERING, OR LIGHTNING.
- Do not use an extension cord; provide a properly located outlet.
- Do not plug or unplug with wet hands.
- Never operate electrical appliances in or near the spa when wet. Keep electrical appliances (lights, phones, radios, TVs) at least 2m away.
General Safety Warnings
- Install at least 2m from all metal surfaces.
- No part of the appliance should be located above the bath during use.
- Live parts (except 12V safety extra-low voltage) must be inaccessible to persons in the spa. Electrical components must be located or fixed so they cannot fall into the spa.
- A PRCD is incorporated in the power cord for electric safety. If leakage exceeds 10mA, it cuts off power. Unplug and stop use immediately. Do not repair yourself. Visit www.bestwaycorp.com for information.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent, or qualified person.
Warnings - To Reduce the Risk of Injury
- Water temperature should never exceed 40°C (104°F). 38°C (100°F) to 40°C (104°F) is safe for healthy adults. Lower temperatures are recommended for children and for use exceeding 10 minutes.
- Pregnant women should limit spa temperature to 38°C (100°F) and use for no more than 10 minutes due to potential fetal damage.
- If water feels too hot, measure temperature with an accurate thermometer. If above 45°C (113°F), stop use.
- External thermometer readings may differ from the control panel by ~3 degrees due to location.
- Alcohol, drugs, or medication before or during spa use may lead to unconsciousness and drowning risk.
- Obese individuals or those with heart disease, blood pressure issues, circulatory problems, or diabetes should consult a physician before use.
- Individuals on medication should consult a physician, as some medications can cause drowsiness or affect heart rate, blood pressure, and circulation.
- Never put your head under water.
- Avoid swallowing spa water.
- Comfortable temperature may be lower than the maximum safe temperature.

- Never pour water hotter than 40°C (104°F) directly into the spa.
- Do not use the spa alone.
- People with infectious diseases should not use the spa.
- Do not use immediately following strenuous exercise.
- Leave the spa immediately if you feel uncomfortable or sleepy.
- Enter and exit slowly and cautiously; wet surfaces are slippery.
- Test the pump before each use.
Warnings – Non-Swimmers Safety
- Continuous, active, and vigilant supervision by a competent adult is required at all times for weak swimmers and non-swimmers, especially in exercise spas. Children under five are at the highest risk of drowning.
- Designate a competent adult to supervise spa use each time.
- Weak swimmers or non-swimmers should wear personal protection equipment.
- When the spa is not in use or unsupervised, remove all toys from the spa and surrounding area to avoid attracting children.
Warnings – Safety Devices and Equipment
- Use a safety cover or other protection device, or secure doors/windows to prevent unauthorized access.
- Barriers, covers, alarms, and similar devices are aids, not substitutes for adult supervision.
- Keep rescue equipment (e.g., a ring buoy) nearby if appropriate.
- Keep a working phone and emergency numbers near the spa.
- Consult local authorities for regulations on childproof fencing, safety barriers, lighting, and other safety requirements.
Warnings – Safe Use of the Spa
- Encourage all users, especially children, to learn how to swim.
- Learn Basic Life Support (CPR) and refresh knowledge regularly for emergencies.
- Instruct all users, including children, on what to do in case of an emergency.
- Never dive into shallow water; this can lead to serious injury or death.
- Do not use the spa when using alcohol or medication that may impair judgment.
- Remove covers completely from the water surface before entering the spa.
- Protect occupants from water-related illnesses by advising water treatment and good hygiene. Consult water treatment guidelines in the user's manual.
- Store chemicals out of reach of children.
- Use provided signage or place signage within 2 meters of the spa in a prominent position.
Warnings - Safe Water Maintenance and Chemical Use
- Never add water to chemicals; always add chemicals to water to avoid fumes or violent reactions.
- For cleaning, water maintenance, and disposal, refer to the "MAINTENANCE" section.
- Do not use the spa during chemical maintenance.
- Manual dosing of chemicals should not be performed while bathers are present.
- Consult your local government authority for water regulations.
Warnings - Safe Setup and Storage
- Removable ladders, when removed, shall be stored safely where children cannot climb on them.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8+ and persons with reduced capabilities if given supervision and instruction. Children shall not play with the appliance. User maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
- Water attracts children; always attach a spa cover after each use.
- DANGER - Risk of Accidental Drowning (especially children under 5 years). Prevent unauthorized access by securing means of access or installing a safety protection device. Ensure children are kept under constant adult supervision during use.

Choose the Correct Location
Suitable for indoor and outdoor, above ground, portable wiring, and portable spa use.
Only For Spas Equipped With Wi-Fi: Read the Spa Wi-Fi instruction leaflet included in the package and the following instructions.
For All Spas: The chosen surface must respect these technical characteristics:
- The surface must uniformly support the combined weight of the water and users for the entire time the spa is installed.
- An adequate drainage system is required for overflow water.
- The surface must be flat and smooth. Inclines or unevenness can create unbalanced loading and damage the structure.
- The selected surface must be clear of any objects that could damage or perforate the bottom of the spa due to water weight.
- The location must not have overhead power lines or trees. Ensure no underground utility pipes, lines, or cables are present.
- Position the spa away from the house entrance. Do not place equipment or furniture around the spa, as water spillage can cause damage.
- Do not install on carpet or other porous floor materials that promote moisture, bacteria, or are affected by water treatment chemicals.
- Consult your local government authority for installation regulations.
Suggested set-up surfaces: Grass, ground, concrete, and other surfaces meeting the conditions.
Not suggested surfaces: Mud, sand, gravel, deck, balcony, driveway, platform, soft/loose soil, or surfaces not meeting the conditions.
Indoor Installation
- Humidity is a natural side effect. Assess effects on wood, paper, etc., and provide ample ventilation. Consult an expert if more ventilation is needed.
- Maintain suitable air treatment (ventilation and dehumidification) for safety and comfort.
- Empty the spa before removing it from the indoor location.
Outdoor Installation
- Clear the selected surface of aggressive plants and weed species that could grow through the liner and cause leaks.
- Do not expose the spa surface to direct sunlight for long periods. Protect with a cover when not in use.
- Follow instructions for choosing the correct surface and location. Damaged parts due to incorrect setup are not considered manufacturing defects and will void the warranty. The owner is responsible for ensuring the site meets requirements.
- Consult local professional installers for environmental conditions like ground water and frost risk.
SPA HEATER EQUIPOTENTIAL BONDING TERMINAL
- Arrange for a qualified electrician to connect the spa pump to an equipotential bonding terminal using a minimum 2.5mm² solid copper conductor.
Installation
Follow the drawings printed on the package for installation instructions. Drawings are for illustration purposes only and may not reflect the actual product. Not to scale.
Recommendations During Installation
- Using an extension cord or multi-plug adaptor with the spa heater is dangerous and can cause overheating and damage.
- Keep the spa away from rest areas to minimize noise disturbance. Maintain at least 1m clearance around the spa.
- Using sea water is not recommended as salt can corrode internal metal components.
- The filtration system is designed for the filter cartridge only. Other components can cause damage.
Inflation Information (Only For Inflatable Spa Liner or Inflatable Cover)
- Air expulsion from the inflation hose connection point is normal.
- Do not cover the holes on the base of the inflation hose; this can over-inflate and damage the liner.
- Do not use an air compressor.
- Do not drag the pool on rough ground to avoid damaging the liner.
Hand Pump Pressure Gauge (Only For Fortifiber Spa)
The gauge shows pressure higher than 5 psi. If pressure is lower than 5 psi, the gauge will not show a value.
Air Valve Check (Only For Fortifiber Spa)
- If the air valve is loose, use the provided wrench to fasten it clockwise. Hold the backside of the valve from the inner side of the spa wall with one hand.
- Do not adjust the air valve connector when the spa is in use.
Installation Diagram Descriptions (Pages 21-22)
The following describes the general installation steps illustrated in the diagrams:
Step 1: Spa Setup and Pump Connection
- Diagram 1 (Page 21): Shows connecting the pump to the spa liner.
- Diagram 2 (Page 21): Illustrates connecting the pump's hose to the spa's inlet/outlet valve. It also shows the PRCD plug and testing the GFCI (PRCD) function by pressing the TEST button (indicator light flashes) and then the RESET button (indicator light turns on). This test should be performed before each use.
- Diagram 3 (Page 21): Shows inflating the spa liner using the pump. The process takes approximately 5 hours.
- Diagram 1 (Page 22): Shows connecting the pump to the spa's water outlet and inlet.
- Diagram 2a & 2b (Page 22): Detail the connection of hoses to the pump and spa.
- Diagram 3 (Page 22): Shows the spa filled with water and the pump attached.

Using the Spa
Control Panel
The control panel allows operation of the spa functions. It features buttons for Lock/Unlock, Power-Saving Timer, Heat, Massage System, and temperature adjustment.
- LOCK/UNLOCK BUTTON: Press for 2 seconds to lock or unlock the pump. A 5-minute auto-lock feature is active when the light is on.
- POWER-SAVING TIMER BUTTON: Set heating duration (1-999 hours) and waiting time before heating (0-999 hours). Press the button to activate, use +/- buttons to adjust, and press again to confirm. The LED will light steadily when countdown begins. To modify, press the button and use +/-. To cancel, press and hold for 2 seconds. This function is not automatic and must be reset after each cycle.
- HEAT BUTTON: Press to activate the heating system. The button light turns red when heating is active and green when the set temperature is reached. Filtration automatically starts when heating is activated and continues after heating stops.
- MASSAGE SYSTEM BUTTON: Press to activate the massage system, which has a 30-minute auto-shutoff. The button light turns red when active. Do not run the massage system with the cover attached, as air can accumulate and damage the cover. Heat and massage can be activated simultaneously.
- 2-LEVEL MASSAGE REGULATION (Wi-Fi Models Only): Push once for full power (L1), again for lower power (L2), and a third time to shut off. Ensure massage is at full power when inflating the spa liner.
- TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT BUTTONS: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the set temperature (default 35°C/95°F, range 20°C-40°C / 68°F-104°F). The display shows the set temperature for 3 seconds, then the real water temperature.
- ON/OFF BUTTON: Press and hold for 2 seconds to activate the control panel (button turns green). Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn off all functions.
- CELSIUS/FAHRENHEIT TOGGLE: Switch between °C and °F display.
- WATER FILTER BUTTON: Press to turn the filter pump on/off. The button turns red when activated.
- Wi-Fi ACTIVATION (Wi-Fi Models Only): Refer to the spa Wi-Fi instruction leaflet.
Water Heater Rate
The heating rate may change under the following conditions:
- Outdoor temperature below 15°C (59°F).
- Spa cover not in position (always keep the cover on when not in use to prevent dust and heat loss).
- Filtration system not activated (display may not show correct temperature). Run filtration for at least a minute for accurate readings.
External thermometer readings may vary from the spa panel by approximately 2°C (35.6°F).
Winter Use Instructions
Follow these suggestions to prevent damage during winter use:
- If outdoor temperature is below 10°C (50°F), keep the package indoors (above 15°C/59°F) to make the liner more flexible.
- Inflate the spa liner indoors (above 15°C/59°F).
- Position outdoors, connect the heater, and fill with water above 6°C (42.8°F) to avoid E03 alarm.
- The Freeze Shield™ system keeps internal temperature between 6°C (42.8°F) and 10°C (50°F) to prevent freezing when the temperature is below 6°C (42.8°F). The heater must always be on in this mode.
- If alarms appear, Freeze Shield™ is not working. Check spa status if outdoor temperature is below 6°C (42.8°F).
- For long absences when temperatures may fall below 6°C (42.8°F), disassemble and store the spa.
- Damage from using the spa in freezing conditions is the customer's responsibility. Do not use below -10°C (14°F).
Heating Time
Heating duration to reach 40°C (104°F) depends on starting water and ambient temperature. Data is for reference only. Run filter system for at least a minute to display current water temperature.

- Always cover the spa when heating.
- Do not switch off the spa heater if the temperature is below 6°C (42.8°F) when the spa is filled with water.

Maintenance
CAUTION: Ensure the pump is unplugged before maintenance to avoid injury or death.
Liner
- Liner may appear to lose air due to ambient temperature changes; this is normal.
- When detaching the pump, block the air pipe and install stoppers on debris screens to prevent water leakage.
Cover
- Clean the cover periodically inside and out with a gentle detergent for PVC material.
Filter Cartridge
- Check and clean your filter cartridge daily for optimal performance.
- Replace the filter cartridge weekly, or sooner if it remains soiled and discolored after washing.
Water
Pollutants can cause bacterial, algal, or fungal growth. Spas require regular cleaning. Stains, biofilms, or salt concentrations may develop. Change water completely and disinfect as needed. Observe draining regulations.
- Keep spa water clean and chemically balanced. Use pool chemicals and a chlorine/bromine dispenser.
- Water quality depends on usage frequency, number of users, and maintenance. Change water every 3 days if no chemical treatment is performed.
- Use tap water for filling to minimize mineral influence.
- Shower before use to remove cosmetic products, lotions, and residues that degrade water quality.
- Do not pour chemical products directly into the water; they can deposit on the bottom and damage the PVC.
Chemical Tablets (Not Included)
- Remove the chemical dispenser when the spa is in use.
- After chemical maintenance, use a test kit to check water chemistry before use. Maintain balance as follows:

Disassembly and Storage
Draining
Follow the drawings in the manual for draining. Drawings are for illustration purposes only.
Drying
- After draining, ensure the pump, liner chamber, massage chain, and inflatable cover are completely dry to extend spa life and prevent mildew.
- Water in the liner chamber and cover comes from humidity; quantity may vary.
- Follow drawings for drying parts.
Cleaning
- Use soap and water to clean spa walls, rinsing thoroughly. Do not use hard brushes or abrasive cleaners.
Deflating (Only For Inflatable Spas)
- Use the deflation function to remove air for easier packing and storage. Follow drawings.
Repairing
For PVC Material:
- For tears or punctures, use the provided PVC repair patch. Clean the area, peel the patch, and press firmly for 30 seconds before inflation.
For Duraplus™ PVC Material:
- Clean and dry the area. Cut the patch to size. Apply glue (not included) to one side of the patch, distribute evenly. Wait 30 seconds, then place the patch over the damaged area. Smooth out air bubbles and press firmly for two minutes. Wait 30 minutes before inflation.
Storage
- Ensure all parts (liner, cover, pump, accessories) are completely clean and dry before storing. Mold can form if not dry, damaging the liner.
- Fold the spa liner only if the environment temperature is above 10°C (50°F).
- Store in a dry place with moderate temperatures (10°C-38°C / 50°F-100°F).
- Store in a carton box to better protect the PVC material during winter months.
