R. STAHL 8530/1-MCB-STA101-C40-500-2 Circuit Breaker
Article Number: 294003
Product Description
The R. STAHL 8530/1-MCB-STA101-C40-500-2 circuit breaker is part of the system components for technology. It offers excellent current limitation in case of short circuits and a high breaking capacity of 10, 15, or 25 kA. This results in reduced load on electrical lines and high selectivity with respect to upstream fuses. The modules are designed with a modular structure and are available in 1 to 4-pole models for nominal currents from 0.5–63 A. The maximum mounting capacity is 4.5 division units.
Key Features:
- Disconnector function according to EN 60947-2
- Energy limitation class 3
- Easy replacement or expansion of installations due to modular design
- Simple mounting via DIN mounting rail in Ex e enclosures
- Thermally and magnetically adjusted tripping
- Ergonomic operating lever for safe connection and disconnection
- Protection against re-energization during maintenance using padlocks (Accessories)

Technical Diagrams
Tripping Characteristic C
A graph shows the tripping characteristic for circuit breaker type C. The x-axis represents the multiple of the rated current (I/In), ranging from 0.1 to 30. The y-axis represents time in seconds, ranging from 0.01 to 120. The curve indicates that for a current of 1.5 to 3 times the rated current, tripping occurs between 0.1 and 10 seconds. For higher multiples of current, the tripping time decreases significantly.
Measurement Diagram
A diagram illustrates the dimensions of the circuit breaker. Key dimensions include width (65 mm / 2.56 in), length (165 mm / 6.50 in), and installation depth (138.3 mm / 5.44 in). The diagram also shows the mounting width and the overall height of the unit.
