Important Safety Instructions

General Safety

This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized attachment plug. Do not alter the plug.

Caution

To prevent electrical shock, match the wide blade of the plug to the wide slot and fully insert.

Deviation from the assembly instructions may result in a risk of fire or electric shock.

Parts Included

The following parts are included in the package:

1x Lamp base with power cord
2x Pole sections (for height adjustment)
1x Lamp holder assembly (socket)
1x Shade support ring
2x Shade support arms
2x Clips for shade support arms

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Assemble Pole Sections

Connect the two pole sections by screwing them together. Follow the arrows indicating upward movement and rotation to secure.

Step 2: Attach Pole to Base

Insert the assembled pole into the lamp base. Rotate the pole to secure it firmly to the base, as indicated by the arrows.

Step 3: Route Power Cord

Carefully guide the power cord through the assembled pole sections. Use the provided clips to secure the cord along the pole, following the direction indicated by the arrows.

Step 4: Assemble Shade Support Ring

Connect the two halves of the shade support ring using the two clips. The magnified view shows the clips being attached.

Step 5: Attach Shade Support Arms to Ring

Attach the two shade support arms to the assembled shade support ring. The magnified view shows a clip mechanism engaging with an audible '[click]' sound.

Step 6: Attach Shade Support Structure to Pole

Connect the assembled shade support structure (ring with arms) to the top of the lamp pole. The magnified view shows a clip mechanism engaging with an audible '[click]' sound.

Step 7: Insert Arms into Lampshade

Insert the ends of the two shade support arms into the designated slots at the base of the lampshade. Follow the downward arrows for correct insertion.

Step 8: Place Lampshade

Carefully place the lampshade onto the shade support structure. The downward arrow indicates the correct placement.

Step 9: Secure Lampshade

Secure the lampshade to the support arms using the provided clips. The magnified views show the clipping action to fasten the shade.

Step 10: Prepare Lamp Holder

Unscrew the retaining ring from the lamp holder socket. The arrows indicate the direction of rotation and removal.

Step 11: Install Bulb and Holder

Screw a light bulb into the lamp holder socket. Then, attach the lamp holder assembly to the top of the lamp pole. The downward arrow indicates bulb installation.
